Advice on a trip to Kings Dominion
Creed Bratton replied to Snowman's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
If you are thinking of going opening weekend, don't. I went two years ago and I swear nothing in the park was really ready to operate. Most coasters only had 1 train op, with BLSC being the one that had it the worst. I liked and didn't like the park at the same time. It felt weird since KI is my home park, but some of the rides were a little bit better. -
If there are go-karts somewhere, for me to enjoy them, they've gotta do more than turn left. Either way, I'm glad that Thunder Alley has left the park.

New attraction at Knott's Berry Farm?
Creed Bratton replied to King Cobra's topic in Coming Attractions
I hope they do finish X Base sometime. I had hoped, the area that Dino's Alive (whether it's good or bad doesn't matter for this comment) covers would have been part of the addition. I really would love to see each "section" of the park be returned to it's original idea of "theme". -
New attraction at Knott's Berry Farm?

While it's not real close, the one next to WindSeeker and Dino's Alive is the closets. Still a walk. I second this motion ^. -
Easy: Any ride in Planet Snoopy. Hard: You in front of the Kings Island sign that's in front of the Royal Fountains Expert: Stream under Flight Deck.

My favorite ride on FOF was with Captain Nemo a couple years ago during Haunt. It was the first Haunt with the green laser lights in the launch tunnel. We esentially had a ZEN ride, with both of us being the only ones on the train in the front row. At the midcourse we had to push ourselves forward to get the train to move out of the brakes from where it was almost completely stopped.

^Chandelier in the International Restaurant Dining Room....dunno if it counts, but there it is! Easy: Invertigo from the midway Hard: You in front of the Kings Island sign that's in front of the Royal Fountains Expert: Stream under Flight Deck.

Will KITV return and have more "episodes" next season?

To my knowledge, the stage for the theater is still standing; CarnEvil takes up the space of what was originally the seating area. Now if they got rid of the stage, they'd have a lot more room to expand the footprint of the Haunt attraction. You are correct, the stage is still standing. I'd like to see the entire venue used during the normal season.

While I know there is a purpose for CarnEvil in the old Enchanted Theatre during the normal season, I'd love to see it in use again.

TheCrypt, I'm assuming they fell into the nets while riding and not by someone placing the items in the net by standing on the ground. Sometimes people think their pockets are secured and some times they are not, thus feminine products in the nets next to Crpyt.

While working at Diamondback in 2010, I saw underwear, shorts, t-shirts, basketballs, tons of change, lighters, pocket knives, cell phones, towels, glasses, feminine products in the net next to Crypt and the ones on the helix.

In the park! More than likely you'd find me in Rivertown at Diamondback or Beast. If I wasn't there, you'd find me at the back of Coney Mall.

Not much more that I can add to what has been said already here. I never worked with Jess, but I know she impacted many lives inside the park gates and out side of them. My thoughts and prayers are with her, her family, her KI Family and those who knew her. RIP Jess!

Ouimet Gets $1 Mil Salary

I liked the comment about not letting their kids work at the park. So when the kids can't find a job, but that one is available, will they still deny it? -
Hard: Boo Blasters on Boo Hill Queue Easy: Zephyr in motion

A Piece of Winterfest History: Live on Stage
Creed Bratton replied to XGatorHead 8904's topic in Kings Island
This is the caliber of the shows I'd like to see at KI. I know that they cost a bit more money, than just the current state of shows. That show was entertaining, fun and had a great story line. I personally don't go to many shows currently at KI because I don't feel that they really have a story line and they are a ton of music. While I enjoy them, I won't see them more than once. Would love to see a return of shows like this though! Gator that stinks that the show wasn't as good as the KI ones! -
KI Seeks Applications For Seasonal Jobs
Creed Bratton replied to The Interpreter's topic in Kings Island
Those would be ride associates. Everyone on the ride crew will have to do that at some point. Really being the comedian is up to you, but it has to be within park guidlines. -
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing!

KI Seeks Applications For Seasonal Jobs
Creed Bratton replied to The Interpreter's topic in Kings Island
Rides is a ton of fun, but it's demanding. It really depends on what your attitude about working is. If you want something fairly easy, merch is good for you. If you want something challenging and fun, rides would be that place. I drove about 40 minutes every day to work at the park and it was well worth it. Interacting with guests and the other ride associates made it worth it as well. It also depends on what kind of environment you want to work in. If you can handle the heat, wind, cold, rain, storms, etc. you can do rides but if you don't like the heat or the insane weather patterns something inside would be for you. -

I'm pretty sure, just games. Not 100% positive on that though.
