Hey all, I searched for some past Wyandot Lake forums but didn't really see much other than the news that Six Flags had bought it then sold it to the zoo and so on. My questions for you all are: 1) Did you visit Wyandot Lake ever? 2) When did you visit? 3) What was your favorite memory? 4) Do you have any pictures to share? 5) If you have been to Zoombezi Bay have you seen any things that you have noticed to be from Wyandot Lake? Can't wait to hear your responses!

I could see Kings Dominion getting a WindSeeker. I don't know if I'd like it to be back where El Dorado is. It'd be great to see it toward the front of the park. But if you were with me on the opening weekend trip, we discovered a failed attempt at WindSeeker. See the picture I took below!

I would love to see Winterfest back at KI but I know why they won't have it. I know tons of people are disappointed that it won't be back. Thought you all would enjoy this find!

For some reason this reminds me of Wildcat at Cedar Point. The first time I rode it, my back hurt but not to a point where I'd say anything. From then on, I made sure I held on with at least one arm to push my self back into the seat, to lessen the chance of my back slamming on the seat.

Remember as the heat of the summer rises, the track does too. The heat on the wheels can cause wear and tear. When this happens it'll feel rough, especially when entering a trim brake. I remember last Halloween Haunt, as it was getting colder, Diamondback was smoother than the summer. As many have mentioned before just because a ride does shake a little, it doesn't mean the ride has lost its touch! I wish I could say the same for Invertigo!

In the Latin to English translations on Google, I kept seeing the word lake. Could this be like Camp Killaue at Kings Dominion?

What time did you see this? I do know that when the ride is on standby for opening, the trains are stopped on the blocks, so one on the hill, one coming into the station and assuming one in the station. Just a thought, could be that it was waiting to start up or it was closed for the day. There are times where rides do close for an entire day for maintenance.

I honestly don't think it would go over well at Cedar Point. To me Cedar Point screams thrills to many more than Kings Island does! IF Cedar Point does this, I wish them success. I don't feel that MF Island would be a good area for this, but would be a good place for another ride or something. Only time will tell and I hope the best comes out of the rumor.

I'm so enjoying this topic! I'm happy that KI is adding 2 more shows!!! Live shows to me are worth it. It's been a while since I've sat down and watched just shows at the park, would love to do it again soon, but good job KI! I'll never forget when the CMT country show was at the park and one of the girls came to my dad singing and sat on his lap....he'll never forget that either! I look forward to seeing these shows and their success!!

I'm surprised that the ride op took the camera away. Last year, I got in trouble for trying to take away a camera on Diamondback. I think it is completely and utterly stupid for a person to even think about pulling a cell phone, camera, etc. out on a ride. It may just be me, because my cell phone is my life, holds my appointments, music, etc. in it. I couldn't imagine how upset I'd be if it were to fall of of Beast, Diamondback, etc. to never work again. I've seen many cell phones broken when I was doing nightly closing procedures at Diamondback. Even the areas one would not think their cell would fall out of their pocket, Mid-Course Break, had several cell phones under it broken. Not only would I be upset at it breaking but I unlike many other people who visit the park (not talking about any of you just to clarify) would be upset if I had hurt someone because of my cell phone falling out of my pocket or out of my hands while texting or pov-ing on a coaster. Its time some people who visit amusement parks to wake up and realize that while they are there to have fun that they have a responsibility to protect themselves and others around them even if they don't know the other people. /Rant

I haven't ever had to ride in an assigned seat on Beast. I'm not sure why they are doing it nor do I think it's needed. Of course I'm not at the park to see how busy it is. I'm guessing it's not any busier than it has been earlier this season or last season when they didn't assign seats. I find that assigning seats frustrate guests, pass holders and even employees. It does suck having jam packed stations but I like to find my seat on my own.

So the date of me going has been moved back to an undetermined time due to work. So I'll keep ya posted when I go and keep these hints in mind.
