It's fixed on my end! Thanks

As long as you don't sink in the lazy river kind of attraction right Gator? Lol. If the park does open, I will visit for sure. Never got to visit prior to it closing.

I'm trying to edit my signature, but cannot. It's stuck in HTML editing and none of the buttons in the toolbar are able to be clicked.

I believe Don mentioned that he was invited to go and take pictures of the manufacturing as well as pictures from the group including CEO Ouimet.

Gov. Kaisich Proposes Admission Tax
Creed Bratton replied to PhantomTheater's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
They need to cut the amount of staff that works for Kasich. He's got assistants to the assistants of the assistants. My sister works for the state and has to deal with the 3rd assistant. Or they need to cut the amount of payroll they spend on Ohio Congress who works at most 14 days out of the month. -

I am so borrowing that picture! Lol. I've not been a fan of Kasich since he took office, but this really ticks me off. -
There literally were a ton of footers. They might have taken them out for various reasons. Look at the area where these footers are, not much grass. They might have been taken out to allow for the land to heal and grow grass again. They could have been in the way of an expansion of a a walk way, a new maintenance building coming in, etc. As of now, everything is speculation.
-
Could mean that, but also could mean that one will. At this point anything is pure speculation. I'd like to see one there. but we'll see what happens in the future.

Future park expansion...I think it really came down to while the construction crews were there, it just made sense to take them out now, rather than later.

Just once, I would have liked to talk about what the OP posted about, TOPGUN1993 in this case. I finally saw an opportunity to discuss this topic, but as soon as I opened it up, I already realized that the topic had been hijacked by "diversion" talk and facepalm pictures. That force the OP to just edit their original entry because they realize it's pointless to even continue. It is something like this that make me not want to be a part of this site anymore. I come here to discuss the topics in the title, not the "diversion." If all the topics start turning to "diversions" then what's the point of even posting? I'm sorry Interpreter, but I don't know what definition you are using for diversion, because when I looked it up on Merriam-Webster it said something that it would be the act of providing entertainment. In reality it ticks me off that it's done one all kinds of topics throwing people off. I'm not entertained. I would rather be entertained by the original topic than a "diversion."

Note, I said "I think" instead of saying for a fact. As I look at the page source, it was updated yesterday, so forgive me for thinking I've seen something before. I think it is full of reassurances but wouldn't you have a statement with reassurances if you were hoping to receive money from investors? No one wants to say, this project may or may not happen so don't get your hopes up (even though some may have their hopes a little too high, or not).

I think that first portion was up on the site before the lease was agreed on. But it sounds like all is going as "planned" to be on site.

The Most Ridiculous Thing a Ride Operator has told you.
Creed Bratton replied to Original's topic in Rumors
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Diamondback is currently experiencing technical difficulties. We are unsure of when it will return to operation. You do not have to get out of line but if you do decide to get out of line, you forfeit your spot in line. Thank You and Sorry for the inconvenience." This is not ridiculous, but I've heard many GP and sometimes Enthusiast complain when this happens. "I planned my whole day for this park and all I had left was to ride Diamondback, my entire trip is ruined." -

Oh my gosh, Gator, Vortex is sinking?!?!?!?!?! -

Oh joy...another battle. -
So it doesn't have use for a queue that long...what do you propose? Pick up the station and move it closer? I'll tell you the use....it get's people walking. I've seen numerous people walk back there just for the "hike," seems like a use to me. The people who ride Flight Deck, they use the queue that is that long....seems like a use for me. To say there isn't any use is crazy. It's taking up space to be better used for park expansion....says you...What does the park say?

CoasterMania 2013
Creed Bratton replied to jcgoble3's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
The only time I attended was when it was over the weekend. The event was decently attended. Generally, you had minimal waits unless you wanted the front row for a ride. Great event! May have to attend this year. -
Also note in the picture there looks to be a "venue" for a live show next to the Scooby Doo roller coaster.

-Insert Sarcastic Laugh Here- Why hasn't this topic been closed? Don's already stated that it's not going to be retired soon.

So Vortex is sinking?
