I'm excited about going up there Sunday and seeing the progress

With it raining today (at least down here in Cincinnati), they may not get too much done.

While I was in line for the Scream Like A Banshee contest and one of the employees running the event said attendees of Banshee Media Day will be some of the first to ride, before anyone else. My friend got media passes and said the back says media and coaster enthusiasts, which confirms what Don said about members of paid coaster clubs getting to attend. I also took a few pics tonight, I will upload them later lol

Off topic but does anyone know what roller coaster is pictured in the Halloween Haunt KI video?

At the Sept. 8th KIC day Don mentioned those coaster clubs that have a paid membership will most likely be invited to Banshee Media Day

I chickened out on that ride over the weekend.... It just freaked me out too much lol I'm not a fan of straight drops down. Though I did go on Maverick twice, the first time at night without knowing what it did, and I about had a heart attack lol

Raptor is what I call a first generation invert. I can only wish Banshee will be like the sub 1999 b&m's.I just wish Banshee would have restraints like Raptor!I don't mind the Gatekeeper restraints, even when they clamped down. I would just squeeze my pecs to loosen up the restraint. The problem isn't so much the vest but the lower part of the restraint. It clamps down and digs into my hips. I have bruises on the front of my hips from them I am a small person (5'3" and 102 pounds) and it seems the restraints don't seem like they were designed to be comfy on small people.

Ditto. That was the first thing we rode on Friday night and I had never been on a full circuit invert and it was just so incredible!!!

It is quiet when you're not right by it or on it. If you're at the front gate when it goes over head it's audible. Not very audible though. Raptor is way more audible

I think the restraints hurt me because I am NOT normal sized. I am small and skinny. My hips are bruised in the front from the restraint. Don't think my collar bone is too bruised though but it still rubbed.

Yeah Mantis is very loud. I came to realize that that was the sound I heard throughout the park Saturday and not so much Raptor. Raptor is very audible on and near the midway though.

I could be wrong but I thought I heard someone say that Diamondback's track was filled with sand to quiet it but I could be wrong.

Gatekeeper's restraints have been fixed to eliminate the collarbone issue (the vests no longer lock). That will be the case on Banshee as well.Transmitted from Wild Space via my datapad's DROID brain Well lemme tell ya something, at 5'3" they still rub on me and the restraint crushes my hips as well. Unless I ride right side row one outside.... That doesn't seem too bad.... But the others hurt me

Ok who else hates them????? Great ride, horrible restraints. At only 5'3 and 102 pounds I found the restraints painful. It crushes my hips and the rubber part rubs on my collar bone. The first time I rode it it didn't seem bad but tonight with ERT and riding it a few times OUCH!!!! I am bruised

Friday for sure. After spending two days in the park for Fall Freak Out, there were a lot less people in the park on Friday than today (Saturday)

I am convinced Gatekeeper has THE worst, most painful restraints ever. I am NOT looking forward to having those on Banshee. They crush my hips and rub on my collar bone. Fun ride ruined by terrible restraints IMO.
