  1. I might try a different seat to see if the restraints are better and/or the force is less intense but front is out for sure.
  2. I will probably skip it. If I have a thick jacket or towel on me I will stuff it between the lap bar on top of my legs and that helps cushion the blow. I miss backwards Racer. I have never been a huge fan of forward Racer, but loved backwards Racer. I don't know if the lap bars are like that on all the seats or just front. I know red and blue have the same problem. I used to like it bc I wasn't pinned down but now the gap between lap bar and my legs has gotten bigger and it's painful.
  3. A problem I don't have to worry about my problem with some roller coasters is I'm so small the restraint either has to be a little loose or I have to pin myself in. I decided yesterday I'm done riding Racer indefinitely. The lap bar leaves several inches of space between the restraint and my legs when it is down all the way, so I am forced up out of my seat and my legs take a very painful beating on the lap bar. It's just gotten to be too painful of a ride for me. With Delirium and Invertigo I usually end up having to scoot farther back in the seat than one is meant to be in order to get the restraint to fit snug on me, vs leaving a gap Neither one has led to a painful unemployable ride though I'm really hoping Banshee's restraints will fit me snugly without me having to scoot extra far back lol.
  4. What all enters into it, other than (I'm guessing) the roughness of the ride? (I'm betting this will be rated a 5 but I don't know what factors into that other than roughness/intensity/speed)
  5. Don't know if this has been brought up yet or not, but what do you think height requirement for Banshee will be? I'm guessing 54"
  6. That's what I thought. I rode the stand up coaster at former SFKK and loved it so much that I rode it 5 or 6 times in a row, much to the annoyance of the friend that was with me
  7. LOL!!! That sounds like a good enough reason to go on it
  8. What's the name of the stand up coaster at CP? Is that Mantis?
  9. I have never ridden Raptor. Debating on it if I go to CP at the end of September. On one hand, I want to, but on the other hand that would mean Banshee would not be my first full invert and that kind of makes me sad lol I'm going to have to think about this
  10. Three more pics from today. More on my DSLR that I will try to get to tomorrow. Sorry for so many pics. I'm a photographer
  11. Pics from today. Nothing new given that it is Saturday but still cool pics IMO more coming in next post
  12. On really busy days, it's worth every penny imo. Yeah I worked 42 hours on my feet during the week lol this is my play day and I wasn't about to spend all day on my feet just waiting for rides!
  13. You get some sweet views of Banshee from Adventure Express!
  14. Yeah I'm pretty sure it did go up in price. I think it was only $55 last year, MAYBE $60, now regular Fast Lane is $70 for one.
  15. Darn Fast Lane plus cost $85 lol ouch. Oh well. It will be worth it
  16. I'm excited to go up there in the morning I will be exhausted with only 4 hours of sleep (or less) but it will be worth it lol
  17. I think you mean I-71 and I was wondering/thinking the same thing. I think you will be able to see it once the lift hill is complete
  18. Yeah unfortunately it's just me going on Saturday. I will check the meet up thread to see if anyone else is planning on going and if they'd want passes, too, but most people don't want to lol I am doing it to celebrate my new job
  19. So one Fast Lane plus is about $70? Ouch.
  20. This is off topic and I apologize, but does anyone know how much Fast Lane plus costs? I went on the website all it said was as low as $55, and when I tapped buy now it just gave me ticket options and prices but not Fast Lane options.
  21. Man I can't wait to get up there on Saturday!!! I may just have to take my good camera with me I will think about it lol I'm so paranoid taking it to KI.
  22. I just realized how interesting it is that it is named Banshee. I'm Irish, and have lost two relatives in 8 months. One in December and one yesterday, and while I don't believe in folklore stuff like that, I gotta say it's kinda interesting and maybe a bit creepy lol (sorry I know it's kinda off topic unrelated whatever.... I woke up at 7:45am to get bad news. I'm TIRED!! )
  23. Yeah. We had been up at The Beach Waterpark celebrating my birthday and I mentioned wanting to go to KI but not sure I was up to it (I have a very physically demanding job) but he knows I can't resist Diamondback lol
  24. Thanks! I wasn't planning on going tonight, but my fiancé pulled a prank on me and said he thought he saw the lift hill from the freeway, so I decided that we had to go for the last 75 minutes to prove him wrong
