    Weird Al

Yeah...it's a shame that two great artists are playing the same town on one night...you have to choose.
  2. What I really liked was the travelling scarers (like the ones with the knee pads)...I think if the park expanded those and made those more abundant, then the experience would be better...no waiting in lines to get scared!
  3. Spellbound...it had the same exact magic tricks as the Egyptian Show 2 years ago! Where's Graveyard Shift??? COME BACK!
  4. I'm not saying close it, but I think that an addition the the main park would bring in more revenue for the park in general. Even if they spruced WW up, it wouldn't add to the experience. Well, my experience anyway. (that is the most awkward looking wink I have ever seen).
  5. EnterTheVortex, I totally agree with you. It's kind of pointless to have a waterpark at KI when The Beach is less than a mile away. The Beach (in my opinion) is much better than WaterWorks.
  6. I've been on the ride with all the lights on. It was terrible. I also hate the colored lights they have now. You can see you're in a building and it takes away from the whole experience.
  7. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but a blue and orange (I think) coaster was stuck for a long time on the lift hill...including coverage on national and local stations. I'm not sure where it was, but it looked very similar to Face/Off.
  8. I'm not sure what's up with the times on this board, but it was definitely 9:50 when I posted, because the storms didn't hit until after 9:00.
  9. If it was the entrance to a new ride, why would they put it up before anything else for the ride was put up? The entrance seems like an odd first build.
  10. Well, I'm sitting here in my computer room in Mason, OH. It's 9:50. Wondering if Nights of Fire has been cancelled again due to these freakishly, unfortunately timed storms.
  11. The highest I've gotten was 1500, but that was with two other people in the car, left seat.
  12. Even if you did get lost w/o a map, what good would the colors do if there was no way to know what they meant?
  13. Why are they putting another one in? Whenever I walk by the one in Action Zone, there isn't anyone on it!
  14. My "night of fire": 8:30: My friends and I decide to drive over to somewhere around KI to watch the show. 8:35: We consider getting a campsite, everything is booked. 8:37: Everyone leaves the pool party to get dressed. We plan on meeting at 9, and departing for a parking lot. 9:00: Everyone makes it back to the pool party in time to help grab all the rafts and pool stuff and bring it inside. It starts to pour. 9:05: We watch Who's Line is it Anyway, interrupted twice by a meteorologist who IS NOT Pete Delkus. My friend is furious. 9:12: Power goes out. A few times. 9:15: Power restored. 9:20: We watch Lady and the Tramp and Aladdin (not by my choice....) 1:00: I go home, deprived of fireworks. (Sorry, I'll bet the times are skewed)
  15. Don't kill me if I'm slightly wrong on this, but from the previews and commercials I've seen for the new Tomb Raider movie, it seems like it's centered around the Pandora's Box myth. Since this is Greek, I'm guessing the movie will mostly be centered around the Mediterranean area of the world (goin' out on a limb here, hope Mediterranean is right! )
  16. FSASBoxcarRace14, then don't go to this board. There's not a rule that says you have to go to every board.
  17. Sorry, I thought of this right after I posted a second ago. EXAMPLE: Days of Thunder at PG day. It's usually a pay-per-ride, but when they made it free one year, the line was extremely long. The case would be worse for Sling Shot and Skyflyer, since they hold less people.
  18. The issue isn't the price! It's the capacity of the ride. If Xtreme Skyflyer held 50 people a run, it would not be $10 a person. The lines would be incredibly long.
  19. One of the reasons these rides are pay-per-rides is their capacity. They can't take more than 6 people every 10 minutes. The lines would be so long, even with Gold Pass members only. I don't understand why Gold Pass members think they should get more special privileges than they already do...after all, they only bought their passes at a special time, when most people buy them anyway. It doesn't make sense for the park to give them out for free, they should have $10 added on to the pass to get it.
  20. My friend's dad used to perform in the marionette show. It was in the Bubble Theater, where Paramount Story is now.
  21. It sounds like Group 1 had a harder time than Group 2. We got our restraints lifted after each ride, and we got to relax a bit. We weren't in our restraints for more than 2 minutes after each ride. Or at least I wasn't
  22. I don't understand why people get all upset about people even making out in rides like Phantom Theater and Scooby Doo. Although these are "kiddie" rides (arguably so for PT), it's very difficult to see guests in the other cars. I don't understand why they would have to stop the ride for something like that. It seems so obnoxious. As for people making out in queues, I think it's okay for someone to politely ask them to stop. However, when you want to embarass them as a way to make them stop, I think that's wrong. I think some people that come to the park come in with a mindset that they need to maintain a good family park, etc. etc. etc.. Well, then, talk to Guest Relations or a Security Guard. Most of the time the reprimanders are more annoying than the reprimandees. *Climbs down from soapbox*
  23. OhiocoasteR, I was the one with the tall girl who sat next to you because she had long hair. Sorry we were so annoying! (and to anyone else who was in group 2)!
