Of course, my sign of spring was yesterday (Saturday), when the weather was warm, and the common feeling was one of "carefreeness".

Is Meet the Nicktoons going to be in the enchanted theater? Or was that overrun by the Haunted Castle? I'll miss hearing, "Attention boys and girls, moms and dads, in just 15 minutes from now, Paramount's Kings Island will present, Scooby Doo and the Ghost in the Attic, in the Enchanted Theater in Hanna Barbera Land! Velma, Shaggy, and youre favorite cartoon character, Scooby Doo, discover mischief and mayhem as they solve a musical mystery in a haunted attic. Yeah, it would be easy to do without anyone knowing...unless people have Show Choir competitions in Columbus at unGodly hours in the morning...:-D.

Fun stuff. In response to previous posts, there is no way it could have "seemed brighter" or they just "forgot to turn the lights off." This was brighter than everything regularly is in running season. The training is the most logical, but I'm just going to believe they're building a new coaster...because I really want one.

I'm Will. Yeah, I thought it was pretty weird. What would require a huge floodlight at %:30 on a Saturday morning besides construction??? It wasn't where Delirium is, I know that.

I was riding past KI on Saturday morning (at 5:30, Show Choir competition in Columbus (ug)), and there was a mysterious BRIGHT floodlight out behind Son of Beast. I mean, it wasn't subtle at all. Really, really obvious. Has anyone else seen this, and what could it be? A new path between FOF and SOB???

I can't see Nick taking over HB land because if that was the plan, would they have built a new Scooby ride?

But wouldn't that mean All-Star Cafe would have a roughness level of 5? lol...I think the "5-star attractions" were done away with because they started calling everything a 5 star. It kinda lost meaning.

beastfreak: when you said they only have one 3D camera, did you mean projector? Because they don't need a different projector for 3D shows, because then 3D TV wouldn't work (ABC did that while back).

I really liked that game show they used to have in the Festhaus. That was great. I think something that would go over great with PKI's audience is a musical revue. Not just Grease, because that really limits the style. In one of Cedar Point's brochures they had a scene from a show they have about Grease. Since Grease isn't just owned by Paramount, they could buy the rights (Chicago rights aren't owned by Miramax, etc.). They could have a show with songs from musicals (Phantom, Joseph, Cats (um, something else NOT Andrew Lloyd Webber...), reusing the cast to sing solos, OR, write a story that somehow ties in songs from all musicals, and create a hodgepodge of musicals. That would be interesting.

If the third ride was a coaster, wouldn't we be seeing more activity in the PKI skyline (cranes, an actual coaster), and seeing parts in the area around the park (parking lot, etc.)? I doubt the third attraction is anything besides Spongebob, because that involves hardly any delivery. If it was anything else, I doubt the park would be so quiet. And when Jeff said "a good ride to jump on," I doubt he was being literal. Maybe he meant it would be a quick ride, like a ride that people go by and say, "oh, i think i'll ride that," like shake, rattle and roll, or zephyr. Just a thought. Or maybe the "third attraction" will be something for 2004, that is announced early, due to a long construction period (like SOB).

Still that doesn't answer the capacity question.

What would be really cool is if the queue was like a building that was ripped up by a tornado (broken bricks, ripped and dirty furniture, rubble...).

I heard there will be a tap dancing show, a new pop fusion, a magic show (the one that Carmen Electra was in back in the day), the Nickelodeon show, and the Back porch show. This is from an auditionee who was called to be in the magic show, so it's credible.

I don't know...some of the shuttle drivers are mean. Last season my friends and I were at the front of the park and had to go back to the passenger pick-up area. there was a tram there. We asked if they were going back there, and they said they weren't. We pleaded, and still, they refused. We walked all the way back there, and as we were turning around to walk back (we had to walk a friend up there), they drove by. And stopped. Then we asked them if they were going back to the station, and they said no. As we reached the station, they pulled right in. Does anyone know why they might have refused? We were very nice...

When you get off of WWC, its a weird feeling, especially back in the woods, walking back. It's usually breezy, and it feels weird. I have to be "ready" for WWC. CF is more of a "I think i'll ride that," its not like I go from FOF to get there, just to ride it. WWC takes a long time to get to te boats. I don't like that.

Keyhole Photo is run by John Shawn Productions, based out of New Jersey (I think). They own photo shops mainly in Six Flags and Sea Worlds. The change to digital photos a few years back was a major step in Keyhole Photo's progression. Not only is film on a disc, numbers can be assigned to the film easier than before.

The only problem is anything they have to show in line has to be all-age appropiate. Another thing is...I haven't seen Top Gun all the way through (so kill me if you must), I wouldn't want to watch in in line, especially when there is all kinds of outside noise, and the sound isn't loud. One other thing...CHANGE THE VIDEO EVERY MONTH. When July rolls around, the looping video is severely outdated. The music videos are boring, and that Clueless clip gets tedious. GET CREATIVE!

I'm not 100 percent sure, but I think that is a pic from the original park map; it used to be called Coney Island.

I knew someone from Graveyard Shift...she said that they could take off one day a week, and some days they could take off the first or last 2 shows. But that's about it. And I loved Graveyard. My favorite performance was the day Medusa came down into the audience and danced with me. The entire audience was clapping. All my coworkers were doing was laughing at me.
