Did anyone notice the skeletons on Tomb Raider? They are up in the ice. I rode it yesterday and noticed them, I didn't know if they were new for this year or not. Also, I think the water squirts are squirting higher this year, I rode the front row, 2nd from the right (2nd person in the 1st row) and got shot right in the leg, it got my leg all soaked! Are these new changes, or did I just not notice them before now?

I don't know if anyone remembers, but they had a tube going down the center and near the end the woman feel down it or something...refresh my memory...

Inraider, isn't it slightly hypocritical that you mentioned you would close the park on Good Friday so people could spend time with their families in another post, but here you said you went to the park on Good Friday?

Inraider, the park is bought out by companies those days. And by referring to it as "Easter Sunday" isn't going to make it religious, would you close the park on Palm Sunday too?

No matter what the cause of chipped paint is, the park can at least repaint chipped things over the off season. That's quite a while, I think they can do it .

That "Jungle Village" idea is a great idea. The Beast could even be slightly rethemed to fit that. The Beast sounds slightly jungle-y.

I waited in line 4 hours for TRTR in the rain. That was before they had the canopies up, so I got soaked. When we got inside, all of our clothes were steaming because of the temperature change.

Solid Snake, I totally agree with you. Son of Beast really has nothing to do with The Beast except it is wooden and has double-back tracks. I think they just named it SOB for publicity, which is why I am highly against it when people say there should be a "Revenge of the Cobra."

I agree: what's the deal with all the plywood cutouts? I liked the 3D characters...I mean the ones they did have.

For people saying passholders have lots of benefits: White passholders don't have many benefits. Only Gold passholders do. I hate the way the park gives Gold passes free. What's up with that?

I just don't see what the big deal is with telling people what went wrong. People make bigger deals out of things...Inraider, I totally agree with you. They should have been testing Tomb Raider all winter, if it was going to break down now. No ride has an excuse to be down, except for Delirium, Scooby, and Spongebob (and have Scooby and Spongebob even broken down?).

Why can't they talk about it?

Just a question...did anyone else find the long lines for everything (not just rides) odd? Such as GAMES and FOOD? I have never seen the Milk Jar game so busy. EVER.

I got there around 5:15, when cars were lined up to Aces and Eights (by Kings Mills Road) to get into the north entrance. I went to Passenger Pickup/Dropoff and got off there. I must say, the metal detectors weren't bad. I went straight to Delirium, where I waited for around an hour. The ride was very short, but I'm sure they will lengthen it (I hope). I went to Subway, my friends got some stuff, and then I went to Skyline. After that I checked out the line for Scooby and decided it was too long, so I went to ride SpongeBob. SpongeBob was enjoyable, but I'm not so sure I'd ride it again. I rode Face/Off and then decided to go get in line for Scooby and wait it out. It was so much fun! I don't think all the sensors were working yet, but it was much more enjoyable than Phantom Theater. OK...LaRosa's pizza got SO MUCH better this year. It wasn't cardboard...mmm. Then I went home.

Honestly, it would take much longer than everyone is expecting for 1000 Gold Passes to get into the park. At Front Gate last year, the 9:00ers were all not passholders. Passholders generally don't come in until 10:00 or later, especially 1000 of them.

Wow. Well don't I feel like Public Enemy Number One (and Two, and Three, and Four). I just feel like there is an extreme to everything. Metal detectors in the airport is understandable. But, if you're going to have them at KI, might as well have them at grocery stores and malls, too.

"unless all the park guests are into body piercing and have rings in places I don't want to imagine." -italian chef I wouldn't be surprised...some guests...Last season, I saw almost every guest going into the park. I don't have a short attention span, I just think a lot of guests would get angry with the detectors. Terrorism is just as prevalent as it has been in the past, I don't think they had metal detectors during the Gulf War. I think that the park will be just as safe as it has been in the past. Metal detectors won't change that.

Here's my take on the situation: A lot of people (not just on this board, but everywhere) are being very arrogant thinking that people would want to hurt their place. Honestly, if terrorists wanted to really destroy things they wouldn't go for a relatively small theme park in Southern Ohio, they would go for much bigger things. And violence hasn't been a huge problem in PKI's past, I think that these metal detectors will be a hassle for all involved, especially on high attendance days. EVERYONE will be checked (how many people bring cell phones, etc.), not to mention CAR KEYS...this is going to be worse than the airport. Good job, PKI.

I went to Star Trek: The Experience in Las Vegas and was extremely disappointed. I think PKI should start making rides without movie affiliations and just make them for the sake of the ride.

When is PPV? Is it only for gold passholders?
