I It is an Intamin. IM not saying all of them have outrageous amounts of downtime but they do have quite a bit more than B&Ms.Hes not unlucky, it is not uncommon for it to be down (not nearly as bad as TTD though)!

Agreed. Particularly in an election year, Cedar Fair should be more savvy than implying only Democrats are frightening. Pretty sure Reagan got me on Friday... I know they are only going by the calender, and they aren't trying to be political, but that's also a reason to have both sides. Who knows? George Washington with an ax could be lurking around. Last year Bill Clinton had the misfortune of leaping out right in front of my neice, the only thing I could think of was "Not her, you don't!" I hope he got the humor of that. If it were any other president, the thought wouldn't have entered my head. Bausch and Lombe used to have a good eyedrop solution, I don't know if they still make it, I no longer wear contacts. Fair warning, anytime you are in a situation where say, the residue of something like fog can get in your eyes, sometimes drops can only make it worse, it a gross way. They could have Clint Eastwood and an empty chair. That could be good...

I dont mind the 2 topics either. They both cover different topics. This topic is more for actual information about Son of Beast.

I hope the park continues to update us on what is being demolished. I really like the current pictures!

^ He probably just misunderstood you. Im sure he wasn't questioning you.

I highly doubt that equipment will stay at Ki for their next big attraction. If this was true, they would have probably already announced the new ride/coaster. Just my thoughts, could always be wrong.

Possible Ride Station Location?

My take on Oktoberfest is this, its more of a path way connecting Action Zone to Coney Mall. I know people probably hate hearing that but that is just my opinion. Out of every 5 visits I take to the park, I probably stop in Oktoberfest once. I personally beleive that it is one of the prettiest places in the park, just not much thrill; which is what I am looking for. I like it that way too. In my opinion, here are the real areas of the park: INternational Street, Planet Snoopy, AZ, Rivertown and Coney Mall. -
Oh my gosh! Look at Don in that video! I almost didnt recognize him!!

I just checked my iPad 2, and sure enough, the YouTube app has vanished... You can download the official YouTube app in the App Store and its much better than the old one and the best part is its free!

I consider myself a hardcore enthusiast in real life. I know much much more than the average Joe. But some of you know much more than I do. As for the forums, I mostly enjoy reading other peoples posts and learning!

You need to buy a flash player browser. I had Skyfire and it work on almost all sites that used Flash Player. It does cost like $4 but is is worth it. It just replaces Safari.

I was exagerating. I am well aware that those attractions are there. Great rides, just not my cup of tea..

I do not see these things leaving anytime soon. They are only 1-2 years old and even though they are a small investment in our eyes, the still cost a lot of money. I know I will get flamed for saying this but, it's a prototype, everything has its hiccups at the beginning. Yes, it is 2 years into its life cycle and it is getting too old for theses things to continue but, give it time. I am not saying they should continue to operate the WS's while this is continuing to happen. That would be an unwise and dangerous decision. They should be closed until all problems are corrected.

But the VIP fireworks viewing is still there, and we know that there are no fireworks during Haunt. So logic dictates that Thunder Alley was not removed simply because the season for that attraction is over, because if that was the case, the fireworks viewing would be gone as well. Thus, I suspect that we may indeed have seen the last of Thunder Alley. Thats a good point. If that is the case (which I hope it is), then next year Action Zone will literally have nothing. But, we might have a sweet surprise the following year!

^Isn't that because it closed after Labor Day weekend? I could very well be wrong but I think I recall someone saying that on here....

Wow! Your right! I never noticed that before. I have seen Ariel views on Google and i knew that it took up a massive amount of space (I forget how many acres). It pretty much blocked off that section of the park for future expansion. Although it pains me to see the demolition pictures of SoB, I am quite excited for the future!!

^^I agree with you. I will actually be highly disappointed if they do not announce a new coaster for 2014. I wonder how much it is costing them to tear this thing down?

Im actually surprised they started this late. I would of thought they would have started in late August.

Thats exactly what my dad and I brought up this morning while watching the news. Im a Type 1 diabetic and I could not imagine being up there while having a low sugar. In my eyes, that is the biggest problem with these malfunctions, what could happen to people while being up there. I hope they get this fixed soon!

It looks like they will begin dismantling the Rode Bowl first. That makes sense to me since they have to stay away from the station till Haunt is over.
