These are some great renewal benefits; I'm especially excited about night ERT on Closing Day. A great way to close out the season. Daylight Saving Time ends the morning of Closing Day again this year. (It will be completely dark before regular operation ends, making ERT even better.)

Anyone from Kentucky Kingdom who thinks they're being singled out for criticism on this forum should read more threads here.

^ A private entity can sue for alleged damages without a criminal offence being prosecuted. Alternatively, a company can demand payment to settle alleged damages without going to court. This is entirely separate from any criminal charges (eg. theft of services). Separately, if collection agencies are involved, ignoring an alleged debt can cause severe harm to one's credit report. Which can be much more costly than the original monetary amount in question.

That price does not include season parking.

On my most recent visit to Cedar Point, the parking attendant commented on my picture. At Carowinds, I presented exscream team's pass for parking. The parking attendant looked at me like I had two heads until I pointed to the passenger seat. The automated lanes in 2016 will almost certainly feature camera(s).

If it worked as a replacement for a TOGO stand-up coaster at Kings Island...

The "Cedar Point VR" app is now counting down to December 25, 2015. That's almost certainly a placeholder date, but we could be waiting awhile for the official announcement.

At Luminosity, they still claim to be the Best Amusement Park in the World.

There's the many catered meals that the park serves each year. (Special events, park buy-outs, etc) The park makes food that's a lot fancier than what gets served at its quick service eateries. The pulled chicken served at Hank's is new this year. Even when menus don't change, evolving procedures & training employees would be an ongoing process. Note that Nathan was with the park's food department long before being named executive chef.

Wishful thinking: maybe Alabama's Splash Adventure or Lagoon would want it?

I would assume that deliveries were scheduled to begin soon after the original announcement date. There's a lot to transport with a large roller coaster.

To those who have received unacceptable service: I hope you reported it to Guest Services or to a manager/supervisor. They can't fix what they doesn't know is broken. The park is known to read online discussions like this one, but it can be hard to act on an old forum post. I also hope that prospective KI visitors coming to this site don't get the wrong idea. We tend to frankly discuss both the good and the bad, and this is part of what makes the forum interesting. Generally, those who receive a bad experience are more likely to talk about it than those who receive a good experience.

The biggest issue I have noticed is that one customer with a complex order or a problem can back up the cashier line. Waiting in a long line to pay for food you already have is really annoying, even when you're not actually paying because of a meal deal. (A data-driven approach should be used to improve efficiency, and another cashier station should be opened when the line to pay becomes annoyingly long.) Slow lines aside, individual food service employees have given me good service this season. My only food quality complaint has been that Chicken Shack served me cold chicken tenders & fries on my 7/31 visit. (I'm a stickler regarding cleanliness and proper food temperatures.)

As I understand it, Haunt preparations begin soon after the regular season begins. In my Cedar Fair era visits (2012-), props have started becoming visible in August.

If a FUN park wanted it, it wouldn't be listed there.
