  1. We were in the area yesterday and decided to swing by the park. The ride lines were pretty tame at 6PM. We rode Racer, BLSC, and SRR. Also did the Pirate Haunt. When we left about 8:30 the parking lot was filling up rapidly.
  2. Take out small sections so that large ones come down easier, I assume.
  3. Reese Cups, Sweet Tarts and anything sour. I also LOVE the thing that most everyone despises.....Candy Corn. They also made great Road Cones for HotWheels. My least favorite is Tootsie Rolls.
  4. The quickest way to ruin a sandwhich from Subway is to have it toasted.
  5. The quality of food is just as much a product of the ingredients as it is the person preparing/cooking it. We have 8 McDonalds here and only 1 of them is worth going to.
  6. The removal of SOB isn't gonna be free. I wouldn't expect any major ride announcement for Kings Island next month. As for the article, it had me in tears from laughter. The weather this summer was agreeable? It was the hottest summer on record, lol. Gas prices weren't too high? What planet is he on?
  7. Basically, Mr. Hart is the ONLY person really interested in opening the park and it is pretty obvious that the Fair Board doesn't want him. Not to mention all of Harts proposals have involved state backed funds, which the RFP specifically prohibits. This park is dead.
  8. Lol. Figures you would not put an actual poll in the poll section. Scooby
  9. I thought those two rides were taken from SFNO because they were they only usable rides? They were elevated and not as submerged in salt water as the rest of the park. As for KK, I would think plenty of the rides (especially the Flats) could be spruced up and ran again.
  10. Lots of people are like that apparently. Sundays in Oct, one can ride until they pass out. Most everything is a walk on.
  11. Why are you talking about a different poster than the one that started this thread? I really have no problem with all the posts. i just want to know why they are all being put into this section when they are not Polls in any way.
  12. Well, this time the state can say, "We tried everything". That will help ease the sting when their failure is being torn down.
  13. Of course he does. That said, he will be shocked to actually RECEIVE any. I cannot imagine why the big boys aren't chomping at the bit for this park,
  14. I thought it was funny as well. Some people around here are just wound a little too tightly is all.
  15. To be honest, none of them are really scary to me. Fun? Yes.
  16. Is ANYONE really surprised?
  17. Had the pleasure of meeting Keith last summer. He was a good man and we all had a great evening. I will forever remember taking my first ever ride on Delirium that day.
  18. I have GOT to visit this park sometime.
  19. They call it "Controlled Demolition" for a good reason. Don't think it could be done very well on a stack of toothpicks however, lol.
  20. All the sick/dead people from the highly toxic fumes would cost way more than 10 bucks.
  21. The park will let us know when/if there is going to be an announcement. Since the removal of SOB will not be cheap, I wouldn't expect much.
  22. I thought that Kentucky Kingdom still occupied the property? Very odd choice of words.
  23. I would rather ride WE. We only ride Flight Deck once a year.
  24. Maybe because Mr Hart's deal involves a 30 million dollar loan guaranteed by the state for a twice failed amusement park.
  25. The Governor realizes that if the park was worth saving, it would be saved by now. I'm sure that idled state owned property isn't a good thing in the eyes of the state government.
