Exactly. If I have to take every burger back or constantly have to ask for a hot one, I won't bother. Much easier and safer to eat elsewhere.

The funperks site worked fine for me. Just registered all our passes and got a drink band for each pass. When you print out the certificate it has instructions on how to redeem it.

Our trip last Memorial Day weekend was a fun one with a smaller crowd than I expected.

My opening day ride was a great one. The train quickly ascended the lift hill with the only slow down being for a couple of seconds at the very top.

Odd, when my wife tried the test seat on opening day she was told she needed 2 clicks to ride.

I believe the problem with RJ is Sewer related because WOW did it stink, up close.

You obviously did not go up the tower. It was VERY windy on opening day. Just because you don't feel it on the ground doesn't mean it isn't there.

Vortex opened a little late and BLSC went down while we were in line for about 15 minutes.

I will also say...do NOT get a Burger from the Feasthouse, nor the chicken strips. They set out and are cold as ice. Will try another one though at a place that doesn't let them sit out in the open, because even cold it was much better than last year. Lots of problems yesterday, which is to be expected on opening day of course.

Yup, getting a ride on Invertigo was simple. The last thing I wanted to ride in 40 degree weather was WWC, lol.

The weather today SUCKED. Only exception was about 15 minutes during ERT when the sun was shining and the sky was clear. After that it was cool and cloudy until the rain started, after that it was cold and the lines were long. I was amazed at the amount of Junior High kids in the park, our hotel had 5 tour buses full of them.

Local news is saying temps will be in the 60s. The weather isn't keeping everyone away. Our hotel is packed with junior high kids in Kings Island shirts.

Cold and wet outside but at the moment the radar shows no real incoming rain. Cold I can handle.....wet, not so much.

Have decided to make the trip regardless of the forecast. Almost 8 months since my last visit.

If it is anything like last year it will be very crowded and lots of rides will go down, repeatedly. Some may not open at all. Even with all that, I am going again this year.

When it comes to the bigger folks, it is your body shape that matters most on DB. If you carry a lot in your midsection, you may be taking the walk. Like Terp wrote, you MUST hear at least 2 clicks.

I think Leap Day and March 2nd made that pretty clear.

I'm looking forward to being able to visit the park again Really hoping that the new food lives up to the hype.

Best part of that ride is standing on the bridge and getting SOAKED when the boat hits the water.
