Depending on where you are coming from, to attend the parks in VA, just jump on Rt. 64 east and keep going.(Rt. 64 is easily accessible from Camden Park). I believe it took 3 hrs. to hit Kings Dominion. From Huntington WV, hit 64 east and there is just one junction to turn north from 64 to KD. Mapquest it to find the exact route. If you have any questions, message me and maybe I can help. I live 30 mins. to the park. I live in southern Ohio across the river from Huntington, WV. Huntington is where I work. I spent 4 years in Virginia Beach, VA. From here to there involves 2 major roads, Bluegrass Parkway and I-64. Sadly during that time visiting parks was never on my mind. I kick myself now because I could have spent a lot of time at KD and BGW Not to mention all the times I drove past Camden.

Sigh, another park that I need to figure out a way to attend. It would be on any route that I take to reach the parks in VA. Gonna have to plan a road trip some day.

They will not unblock you. I have noticed that whomever is running the FB page for the park has developed a low tolerance for SOB and I don't really blame them. They will delete any comment that does NOT pertain to the topic of their post. Keep making those comments and they will remove you. Edit--Just noticed that the Troll Spray worked.

Or, in my case, "I don't want to spend $5 on it because I'm over the age of 4." But, since the target audience will replace itself every two or three years and little kids tend to like like dinosaurs, I would expect this to last awhile. Uh oh. I better tell my 7 year old son he isn't supposed to like Dinosaurs.

I wear sandals sometimes myself, especially to the park. Keeps my feet cool on those hot days and I don't have to walk around in soaked shoes all day. Those things with the separate toes creep me out Won't see me anywhere near a pair of them.

Agreed. These rides being new and all makes me a bit nervous.

I wouldn't normally consider them Scary but they can be intimidating to some. My daughter is terrified to get on most of them. In 2009 I rode DB and it was my fist Coaster since Thunder Run in 1990. While I loved the ride, it took a few visits last season before I could get back on it Thankfully though, I faced it and have have no problems getting on it now. Even got the wife on it and she had just rode her FIRST coaster last summer.

Well, I suppose it is not much different than an Ice Cream cone. However I have to save those until it is almost time to leave the park. I had one during the Coasting for Kids event last year. It messed up my ride count for the day

A Milk Shake and a hot day at the park doesn't seem like a good combination to me.

The biggest part of Beech Bend is the 1/4 mile drag strip. Reason enough to visit for me
