  1. Neither one of them. I'd prefer our state employees get paid, the Police get paid, the Fireman get paid and our abysmal school system needs a major overhaul.
  2. Last they said, the actual erecting of the ride will not begin until March.
  3. Very much so Terp. I still remember when my father first gave me a glass. I was about 5 and wouldn't touch it because I thought it was BEER because of the name, lol. Once I finally tried it though, I was hooked. Of course it was the good Draft style which was always better than the canned stuff.
  4. They were potheads with a constant case of the munchies, so of course they were hippies, lol.
  5. If the "home" position of the valve is closed, and the valve is properly sealed, I can see it working. My question sits with the financials: How much more expensive is this cup compared to the standard plastic beer cup? There is nasty beer... and there is great beer. Maybe to some people but me, no way, no how and I've been to Europe and tried stuff there. Every last bit of it has that horrid funky taste that I cannot describe, lol. Being from Kentucky, I do love me some Bourbon though.
  6. Man, I wish they still had a Ferris Wheel. Awesome Pic!
  7. Nope. Anyone in the immediate area would be poisoned. Just breathing the dust from some types of it can kill you. http://www.cpsc.gov/phth/cca.html http://unicycler.com/accepting_toxic_pressure_treated_wood_drop-off
  8. Beverly Hills Cop 3 is on right now. The Triple Ferris Wheel looked cool.
  9. Someone asked what was going on with SOB on the KI Facebook page and they responded with..... http://www.facebook.com/#!/visitkingsisland
  10. A new video of the Coney/WindSeeker work has been posted by KI.
  11. Kentucky Truck Sales is a Freight Liner truck dealer......in Indiana. Peterbilt of Louisville? That is in Indiana as well.
  12. I'm confused. Is it gonna be an amusement park with rides, coasters, etc or just an extension of the creation museum with an Ark replica? If so I doubt it will see anywhere near 1.6 million visitors a year since the museum itself doesn't even see 1/3 that amount. The people wanting to build this are still hiding the full extent of their "study". Sorry but my belief is you only hide something like that when it doesn't completely back up your statements. The report most likely contains various potential outcomes/attendance numbers and they are just using the most promising one. Very shady if you ask me.
  13. Meanwhile our school systems are bracing for a $50 million cut in funding.
  14. So, they are hiding who the investors are, hiding the business plan, and hiding the full info of their "study" into the feasibility of the project. We have as much info on the park succeeding as we do that Dinosaurs hung out with cavemen.
  15. They are in the maintenance shed so the new frames can "settle"
  16. Isn't the ride highly visible from the Great Wolf parking lot?
