Also, Intamin giga campers, keep in mind that Kings Island does not build what the enthusiasts like most. They will build what the general public will give the most ca$h for.

This was likely the busiest overnight KICentral has ever had. Four hours til opening. (But even sooner til daylight.*hint*hint*)

Um, did you look closely at the field in the back of some of those pictures? There are definitely some noticeable footers going in there.

My dream for the former Crypt building would be to put in some kind of themed indoor spinning coaster or wild mouse. Not likely to happen any time soon, but in the long term future.
-
That would be pretty cool! I would think the only way a coaster like that could exist would be if it was force-less. Just imagine going through a transition... SNAP, there goes your back... and your life.

I'll switch between my Android and Windows 7 PC. However, whenever I make posts, it's from my PC. I would use my android more, but its an older one with very sketchy internet. It'll work for a week and then go days with no connection. It is highly aggravating and makes the phone basically useless. I need an upgrade and desperately want the HTC One, but... not happening.

Though your reasoning behind this idea confuses me, I definitely like and would support the idea.

I would like to come to my first KIC event, but as of now I don't know. I'll have to wait for it get closer. I do have one question that I would really like an answer to. Am I allowed to bring a friend/ family member with me? Or do you have to be a member to attend?

I love being able to just read all your posts and rarely post myself. It proves very entertaining. Especially when Don gets into it. Especially on Twitter, it makes it all the better.

Death at Six Flags over Texas
rcwizard13 replied to mullimann's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
According to the discussion on TPR, there was no click system on Texas Giant. I made a post of how the employee was at fault. Robb replied saying they had already discussed it and none of them can remember hearing clicks on Texas Giant. -
I'm going to assume you are bringing up the point that we have not considered Banshee may be for other parks. And well we actually have. All other parks have been ruled out because there is no construction and no belief for others to get a new coaster/ overhaul. Especially something as drastic as your suggestion. I mean why would Mantis need an overhaul? And what point are you trying to make with this?

Just thought I should post the two posts that made me make the above post.

I was actually referring to some of the posts on the previous page. This page is fine.

Don't want to crush some of your hopes and dreams, but remember Don reads these forums. He very likely could have saw that picture and tweeted that number just to see some of us freak out.

What color would fit the name "Banshee"?
rcwizard13 replied to Coaster Addict's topic in Kings Island
I would think purple and black would look excellent together. They fit the name, work in that location, and fill a gap in the colors seen around KI. P.S. Coaster Addict: I love your profile pic. -
Will Cedar Fair ever invest in a Winter Season?
rcwizard13 replied to SonofBaconator's topic in KI Polls
I, for one, would love if they did and I believe if done right will make them money no matter the weather. Unfortunately, I also don't think they will ever do it. -
Well this is rather scary. Thank god they got the guy.

What ride would you not ride at Kings island.
rcwizard13 replied to CP&LERR Fan's topic in Kings Island
I would ride any of the rides. Up-charge, Planet Snoopy, Rough, Boring. Nothing that I would not ride, some just require me to be with other people or special circumstances. -
You took the words right out of my mouth.
-
^^ What even was the purpose of that post in the first place?
-
In regards to the quote, "there may not be a day this summer when the ride is announced." Most of you seem to be missing a crucial word that discredits the entire statement. May. Meaning maybe. Which means the statement gives no definitive answer. It may not be a day this summer, but it also may be a day this summer. To me, the quote means nothing.

First year took us 4hrs to get into place, second year took us 2hrs to get out of place, 3rd year took us 1hr and 1/2 in traffic on highway to get home... So next year 1hr in front of my house? NIGHTMARE! Especially in a car with no working AC for 1st and 3rd year... I went this year for the first time since the Sprint Cup was there. On Saturday, the race was rained out until Sunday, we parked in the front row in Lot 6, got right out and was at my parents house in Fairfield in three hours. On Sunday, we hit I-71 in three and a half hours hours and got to the 1047 exit, the exit before the Speedway, in 4 hours. In all an 2 hour trip took 6 hours. I was camping in Millionaire's Row right above the main parking lot. I took great pleasure in being able to sit there Saturday night watching everyone sit in non-moving traffic both in the parking lot and on the highway. All my food and drink and bed were just feet away from me. Great times, indeed. Um...... Has he been to any other American cities? I take it I should never go to Korea, especially considering I never plan on going to LA because of all the pollution and traffic.

The iconic Astro Tower has been observed as swaying much more than normal, causing all surrounding rides and businesses to close for the weekend, including much of the Boardwalk and the Cyclone roller coaster. It's swaying got to as much as 18 feet, putting it on the brink of collapse. Dismantling of the ride started today with the top of the iconic tower. http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/brooklyn/astro-tower-coming-coney-island-article-1.1389974?pgno=1 P.S. Happy rainy 4th!

I'd have to agree, there is no way that those are to scale. I do, however, agree that an invert can still take up a lot of land. And I do still hope we see an invert with at least 7 inversions.
