Well if Paramount would have got all the money from the SOB lawsuit that they had over the structure we could have used that for a bunch of flat rides or a coaster and a flat ride ...

I remember a few years ago nothing but a long line that was not even moving hardly at all and my friends and I got in line and all of the sudden it started pouring down rain and it was horrible if you were stuck in line,and couldn't move anywhere. The line was a huge problem I know for sure...

Yeah thats a safety hazard big time i'm shocked that nothing has been done about it,its always slippery when its wet. I can't believe OSHA didn't hit them with a fine or the park didn't do something about that.

I was also hopefully wanting to see them trains changed possibly also but I doubt it will happen because it will cost a lot to change it.

I agree on that because a park is a lot better with more themed rides,coasters. You will get people to come to the park with the advertisement also for it. It makes the experience a lot better then just a boring out and back coaster or boring ride. I saw the video for Everest and it was amazing how they themed it. I'm wondering though how will they keep up the ride on themes for us in at KI,CP? You have to wonder how they keep up the affects on it so it won't wear away and become like our rides with all the theming all messed up,and parts of it not working,and weather having a affect on it in the winter time in the off-season. Just wondering how they will keep the ride the best way like when it first opens up.

I have no idea how those coasters are compared to SOB but a lot of my friends never have complained about SOB. I know I don't think its bad at all also too but they could atleast figure by testing what can be done to make it safe for everyone. The number one thing first should be safety on all rides in a park. I love to ride wooden roller coasters and would like to see this open agian. The park does hurt a lot without it being opened. I know a lot of us have said this before but I myself am used to them rough and not expecting them to be smooth like steel coasters are. I'm sure there is a lot of people being dramatic about this ride its very obvious and don't like wooden roller coasters at all or hardly ride roller coasters much at all in their lives. I still don't understand what happened to the money they still are supposed to be payed for in the lawsuit over the structure of the ride we could use that money right now in putting better,safer structure for the ride.

They might extend it into the first weekend I would think maybe who knows...

I have to agree with you because its in the center of the park just about and will give the current Action Zone a long break from congestion in that area.

Its seems like a lot of drama over all these rumors whats the point of it? Everyone just needs to be patient and wait and see when the announcement is made on the plans for next year.

I just posted a while ago about this ride maybe fitting into our park. I think it would be a great addition to our flat ride collection. What do you guys think about this?

I have a problem also my game just closes out and I lose my game sometimes.

I must also say the article on the enquier's site is saying they are taking out a few sections of SOB and rebuilding it, didn't we already have this problem before and then boom we have an accident on it this year because of another certain section of the track agian. Geez its a lot of work sounds like to be done to me on it. I respect the state for getting there with the one engineer looking at this. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't open agian before the season is over in October.

I know everyone has been asking this question many of times but will they have to need new trains for this now that they have to rebuild part of the coaster? Was the rose bowl being the main concern now with this being rebuilt? Just wanted to know what you guys think about this now.

I wouldn't count on us getting a coaster in 2007 I would like to see a topple tower put in though. We will not see another coaster until 2008. Cedar Fair isn't going to be putting in big attractions in one park for the first season with full operations. They might be putting something along the lines of a big flat ride of some sort. Just letting everyone know what I think about that.

I know if I got injured because the park knew about this DESIGN of wood being bad, I would definately sue over that.. I wouldn't care about the $ I would care about losing my life or getting crictically injured almost because some ride falling apart because of poor structure on it. I would want this to never happen to anyone ever agian. I would want there to be changes made on how the structure would be. I like SOB a lot but I want it to be safe for people and I myself to enjoy riding it. Like everyone has known it has a long history of problems with the type of wood that was used. I'm sooo curious what kind of wood was used in designing El Toro and then SOB? Why didn't we choose another type? Who was the company that brought this wood in anyways? What happened to the $ that was won after the structure fell in high winds that the park got... I just don't understand why this ride was never fixed in the first place only time will tell for all of us what really is going on with this ride...

I think something around the lines of Adventure of the Island or The Lost Island would cool for a new name just a few thoughts What would you guys want to name it?

I would love to see a restaurant like Olive Garden but cheaper with pastas,lasagna,salads.

Yeah they should have it like the zoo does it would be awsome with lights all over the park and it would bring in a lot of people.I miss Winterfest soo much it was very neat when I was a kid and went.
