  1. I personally like The Beast than any other ride, execpt for the Alpine Slide, thats a new favorite
  2. huzzah for the island of the King will be renewing my pass in a few weeks! What joy, what thrill!
  3. Used to? The similarities are endless. There it is! Indeed it is! The cloning thing got boring the first second i saw the same ride at 2 parks. Soak City, the color blue, Dinosaurs Alive!, WindSeeker, and Diamondback look alikes are the only thing that they could imagine for their parks? Man it sounds like the "imagineers" of CF are clones of each other..
  4. Well i speculate on this due to a old thing i heard on the forums of an Action Zone revamp, this may be the coaster involved with the revamp! That would be the first guess, but due to the lack of info of the revamp, and the status of the "bundle of sticks thats not on the map", i would have to guess CP may just ditch one of the old roller coasters and go with a new one.
  5. Another clone stunt by Cedar Fair....
  6. I actually didnt, it sounds like a pain train
  7. I mean that it would be a up for me, but i know that CF main hq doesnt like to give many free bies away to people (not including the already 1 hr and discounts). Maybe when the economy picks up, SP will have Fast Lane for free.
  8. It's all about marketing. Fast Lane is not geared to season pass holders, but for those that are new guests of KI and for those that can only spend 1 day at the park. We all know Fast Lane is only worth it for a handful of rides, but for those unfamiliar with the park, the more rides offered for Fast Lane, the better the deal sounds. At times i wish it was geared for season pass holders, it would take a load of line waiting away from my stay
  9. It was the best ride i rode all day Yes i did thanks!
  10. Today I made the long trip down to pf. and g. Tn. It was mildly crowded today, making the stay a tad bit unpleasant. My favorite restaurant, the Apple Barn was not that crowded at my visit, and the service, about an 8 star area. The Ripleys Aquarium was not too crowded today, making the stay a 10 on my scale. Ober Gatlinburg was a requiem of my experiences at Ki, the alpine slide had a wait, but it was all worth while, a 9 on my scale. I soon made my way through the small attractions, with no lines, and fun times. The day w as warm and clear in the south with the sun shining and good temperatures. Hopefully my report will help you out and or tell you about a day in Tn.
  11. Nice! Brings back so many memories of pki!
  12. Yay more screaming people, just what the doc ordered
  13. I could see this on The Beast at certain breaking moments, that would be fun, but pricey and uncompatable with modern day technology
  14. So many people/companies have owned our Kings Island, all making their own distinct "imprint" on Kings Island. Which this leads me to ask Kic this, who do you think did the best job at Owning/Operating Kings Island?
  15. Walt Disney's body is frozen in Disney Land.....

    Ride Rotation

I don't think you can make a realistic judgement about how fitting the Soak City theme is at Kings Island until May 26th. Unless you take into consideration on how, how should i put it "Amazing!" the Cedar Fair company is with theming, i guess it is true on that case, just never know

    Meal Deal?

Well knowing how Cedar Fair is with the cloning situation, yes. Now if only we could get a johnny rockets at Kings Island like Knotts Berry Farms....

    Ride Rotation

Indeed it is, thats why i put it down for a trade, a ride that i dont care much for, for a coaster that i dont exactly care about that much, that is my favorite type pf roller coaster wooden
  19. From my stand point i believe almost 45% or less, or more of the Hannah Barberra scenery are still in the park, the others are probably scattered around the tristate, owned by collectors and Kings Island enthusiasts.

    Ride Rotation

You would trade a large, roomy waterpark for a small cramped waterpark with less slides? Disclaimer: Referring to Carowinds, as I have not been to Great America to experience their water park I like the Boomerang Bay theme better than the Soak City theme, it seemed more fitting for any kind of water park, experiences can show that it is a better idea in my book. Also the reason being terp is that personally WindSeeker is not on my top 10 of greatest rides i have ever experienced.

    Ride Rotation

Its not exactly a ride but, the Soak City theme of our park( ) for the Boomerang Bay of Carowinds, or California's Great America ( ). A ride would have to be WindSeeker for Grizzly in California's Great America, it seems better for the park than what is there now.
  22. For me, backlot sc.'s restraints on the legs are not that enjoyable, and The Racers lap bars can be of a pain.

    Opening Day Schedule

Hahaha The Beast line wont be that long with one clone for now.......

    Crowds

Yes there is, Fall actually is the best time for that in my book, due to the early ride times for The Beast, which i have not seen during the summer

    Crowds

Most mornings have little to no large crowds, most is about a 10 min wait on some of the larger rides, making mornings the best to go to ki.
