  1. While recording them, usually against the rules of the park.
  2. Yeah that would be cool.....
  3. I wonder where one could get such a recording....
  4. That's an understatement. It's one of those mysteries that we'll never solve. LOL
  5. I'm guessing you mean Top Gun was the last one that was built. There are, in fact, other Arrow suspendeds around, such as: Ninja at Magic Mountain, Iron Dragon at Cedar Point, Vortex at Canada's Wonderland, and Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
  6. California.
  7. LOL
  8. http://www.screamscape.com/html/industry_news.html
  9. From operator perspective, rides are usually only divided into coasters and flatrides, even though a flat ride might not even be flat (i.e. Drop Zone). HB land isn't my home area, by I like working Taxi Jam and Quickdraw's Railway.
  10. Or when it was just TS.
  11. I think Congo is one of the most stressful to work. I'll have to go with TRTR on my favorite.
  12. What's wrong with the #1?
  13. Security is there all year.
  14. What makes you think anyone else would want your "life" any more than you would want theirs?
  15. I heard they're not going to have a sign for next year because BB is going overbudget.
  16. I have a feeling Winterfest will return next year.
  17. The only one I don't know is when the ride is rocking in front of the triangle at the very beginning. After that it's: Shiva statue ------------- Lara: "You'd better be ready for this." Icefield --------- Lara: "Time is broken here." Spin before lava ------------ Lara: "You're making a big mistake!" End of ride -------------- Lara's father: "No one gets the best of Lara Croft, unless she lets them. And I didn't raise that kind of girl." Lara: "Absolutely." All the clips of Lara Croft are actualy sound bites from the Tomb Raider movie. The clips of her father were recorded for the ride and are not actually John Voight.
  18. That particular train is one of the original trains from Outer Limits/Flight of Fear. It's actually been sitting back there for quite a few years.
  19. PKI, like all parks, is private property. PKI has just as much right to say you can't take pictures or record audio, just as a person has the right to tell a guest in their house that they can't take pictures, or smoke, or whatever.
  20. I meant that silver fits the overall theme of the ride better than bright red.
  21. I actually think the silver/gray paint scheme looks much more like an aircraft carrier than the red/gray scheme did. And an aircraft carrier is what the entire station/ride is supposed to be.
  22. Even if the fun and safety sign by Tomb Raider doesn't prohibit picture--taking (I'm pretty sure it does though), the sign two inches above it clearly states no carry on items are permitted.
  23. Yep, sure can. Ask about it in Human Resources.
  24. I believe that would be the Craig letter.
  25. The only trim that really bothers me is the brake shed. I don't think it's necessarily too strong, it's just all at once. I think if the mag brake there were split up into several smaller sections spread thoughout the shed, the braking would feel less forceful.
