  1. Which Ruby Tuesday's are you referring to? I thought there were more in the area (I know there used to be one in West Chester and two in Kenwood at one time- one was in the mall the other moved across the street), but the closest one I found (According to the website) was in Sharonville. I think I saw there was one according to a highway exit sign I saw a few days ago while driving to/from Indiana for Thanksgiving. Not exactly sure where it was, though.
  2. While I remember enjoying the 2019 version of Tinkers, I much preferred the 2018 (and apparently current) version of Tinkers. It is much more heartwarming (imo) and I think I cried during one showing...
  3. That would be cool! It could be a nod to the area's Adventure Village days
  4. When I rode in 2018, there were special Flight of Cheer themed posters in the queue line (they were like 50's sci-fi style) and the Single Rider Line was open (the SRL was the exit path/Fast Lane line- that was really cool to go through!). I also think they had special green lights in the launch tunnel, but that may have also been in there all season long (I don't remember).
  5. Ok, that makes sense; I was confused on the name when I first saw the video. BTW, this looks really cool. That layout packs a lot of elements in there!
  6. That looks pretty cool; anyone (on here ) know if there is a better picture or POV available?
  7. Drove by today and I saw a bunch of yellow covering DT and then some green at the bottom. Is the "yellow" primer or new paint (I'm assuming the green is the old paint?)?
  8. What a great find! It's a little cheesy, but it's fantastic (and the music used is great too)! It's so cool to see all the old rides and park looked back in the day. And here's another Fast Fact: Those are the Newsboys playing on stage during the entertainment montage (well, Peter Furler, Phil Joel and Duncan Phillips, at least); they must have recorded that during SpritSong!
  9. Even though I greatly prefer Orion over Diamondback, the ride does make for some cool pictures: This one reminds me of Millennium Force's track
  10. I was wondering that too... Perhaps because (I've heard) some rides do not operate on Fridays during Halloweekends (Rougarou is one of them) and instead of running it on just Saturdays and Sundays, it would be better (and more cost efficient) to close it when they did (?). Oh well...
  11. Congrats Ryan! And did someone say cheeseburger?
  12. Is Backlot being repainted the same color?
  13. That’s a really cool find, Ryan! Also, I am one of those who grew up with both Hanna-Barbara and Nickelodeon (specifically, Nick Central- the area transformed into Nick Universe when I was older) and while I look back fondly on those themes, Planet Snoopy works as a kids area as it unifies all the attractions under one umbrella (Nick Universe did this too, but some themes were holdovers from the Nick Central days).
  14. I kinda hope they keep the same paint job, but at the same time, if it did get painted differently, I’m curious what the new color scheme would be.
  15. Ok, that makes sense; good spot for him! They’ve moved Jack all over the place through the years.
  16. Just watched the KIC Haunt video from the first page… where was Jack (the jack in the box) this year @IndyGuy4KI? It looked like there were flashing Christmas trees behind him (which imo, made it more frightening lol).
  17. Good to hear! I started out being scared of haunted houses ever since I was little. My first ever Haunt maze was Tombstone Terror-tory (the train one - it's no longer there) with some friends and that wasn't too bad (though, doing Trail of Terror and Death Row back-to-back did me in for a while lol). Some time later, I worked Park Services and was scheduled to work during Haunt. Though I was terrified my first night, it didn't end up being too bad and I actually enjoyed it (my favorite spot to sweep back then was on Freak Street (Planet Snoopy) when it was there). When I was a guest, I started going through Haunt mazes little by little, starting out with visiting Sam (@XGatorHead 8904) in Slaughter House ( back when it was in Action Zone...) and working my way to doing all of them in a night by at least 2018 (or earlier). The next year, I decided to be a Scareactor; I was at Field of Screams and I loved it! In summery, getting used to it for me was all about exposure to the environment; the more I saw and experienced, the more comfortable I was with Haunt. As you may or may not be able to tell, I now love Haunt and even though I didn't get to pay my visit (or work) this year, I still am very much a fan of it! Also, on the topic of visiting on a Saturday night, first off - visit on Friday instead, you'll thank me later lol. However, if you must visit on a Saturday, I suggest getting to the park early (3 or 4) and scouting out which maze(s) you want to do that night. Once you have your most desired indoor maze picked out, head to that one around 4:45/5:00 and be prepared to wait. Hopefully, you'll be one of the first in when they open around 6 PM. The way Saturday worked for me was I would get there in the morning/afternoon, ride coasters, do a few mazes at open, and then leave.
  18. Good to know! That's kind of a weird location for it- yes, it's highly visible, but appears to only be mostly visible from Coney (it seems like it can't be seen very well from Area 72)
  19. Looks cool, but I wonder why it was put up so late in the Haunt season - testing for Winterfest, perhaps?
  20. I thought there used to be something inside the arches as well. In any case, I’m glad he’s back this year. Thanks for the pic @IndyGuy4KI! EDIT: Ok, so I just now understood he’s supposed to be the “troll under the bridge” (I just noticed there is an arched bridge above him). Also, I wonder if they’ll bring him back for Winterfest as “Everest the Elf”. Though I got used to Everest, I prefer “Haunt” Al more.
  21. Oh, ok. Also, @NegativeGs, is that a picture from KI or Cedar Point?
  22. Speaking of weird things to do while riding Delirium, I almost always close my eyes nowadays as the swinging is pretty relaxing
  23. Said ogre has a name, ya know… I call him Al; glad to see he made a return this year. Is he in his usual spot near Racer and Subway?
  24. Good stuff; did you happen to go thru any of the mazes?
  25. Sometimes Invertigo is rough or intense for me, but I generally enjoy it. I prefer either the very back or very front as I think it’s awkward to face others while riding. My favorite seat is back row (as in, you go up the lift forward), seat closest to the entrance, though last time I rode, Invertigo was more intense than I expected (IIRC)
