That is certainly not outside the realm of possibility. Thankfully! I am sure Vortex will be removed within the next 5-10 years. I will be a little saddened since Vortex was my first steel coaster not only my first steel my first with inversions also! I don't know about in the 5-10 maybe in the next 10-15

Maybe those track pieces are lying outside because they are drying. It could be a black-painted coaster.

I KNEW you'd say that! I hope this is just a rumor, in my opinion, and I really hope Vortex continues to operate for at least a few years to come. It is actually a big dream of mine to work on Vortex when I'm old enough (16) and right now I'm 13, so it wouldn't be until 2015 that I would first be able to apply for and possibly achieve that dream. As one of Vortex's big big big fans, I would be CRYING if we lost Vortex. Unless there's an incident you should be able to run Vortex in the near future.

It will eventually start having common tech/mechanical problems. It's going to retire sometime but probably not in the next 10 years.

FoF has a sort of dusty smell. All trashcans smell horrible at KI. LaRossas tastes great, smells like vomit.
