I don't think many would be pleased with such a decision. ....Although I do think it would be an even more popular ride if the park were to re-paint it and name it Gillette Mach 3: The Ride.

The park has also asked the following: "If you are witness to any strange goings-on in the park, capture it and post the photo on Twitter with the hashtag #KIBanshee." Lately this hashtag has been used when discussing any and all things about Banshee on social media. (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Etc) #KIBanshee

Honestly, Banshee is such a good coaster, it's hard to single out any one element of the ride, but to just mention two of them..... 1.) The second half of the Batwing, as you're plummeting back towards the ground, seems to be the most absolute forceful part of the ride. Amazing. 2.) The In-Line-Roll gives such a floating sensation it is truly unbelievable. I absolutely loved the ride and it definitely exceeded any and all my expectations of it.

After getting over 15 rides on Banshee today, I can say that my best experience (besides the 2nd train of the morning in the dark) was riding in the front seat. In my honest opinion, the back seat was not what I expected and ended up making me want to go back to the front! But usually being a back-seat rider, it was unusual to see me in the front. .......On another note....... It was great to finally meet some KIC'ers today. Those of you who met me know who you are. It was also good to see you in person Gplez90, I thought it was you standing behind me for Banshee twice, but now I'm sure after seeing the pictures above. (By the way, Gplez90, you did correctly spot the "Stengel" tombstone behind Delirium after wondering where it was. )

I'll be at the park around 6:15 or 6:30 tonight to get a new season pass card due to the fact that the barcode on my pass is "wearing-away". This is the same card I've had since the 2011 season. Also, is there a charge for getting a new card? I haven't had to get a new one in a few years so I wasn't sure....?

Something is up with the infamous Action Zone Circle
TheBEASTunchained replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
It looks as if my question has been answered. The remaining shades / covers are being installed in the "circle" right now. -

Judging by the 2014 park map, I was under the impression that there would be more "shades / covers" over the new "circle" in Action Zone.... It seems though as only one is going to / has been installed?..... -
For those of you that are wondering..... After seeing a video of Banshee testing on Instagram, I believe that the Banshee "scream" effect has been incorporated into the lift-hill section of the ride. It looks as if she screams as the train crests the lift-hill. Again, I'm not positive but I thought I'd share this with those of you who were curious about the "scream" effect.

(Now that I am in the right topic....) The Beast was "unchained" on this date in 1979. ......and on another note........ Adventure Express opened on this date in 1991.

Wow, I didn't expect it to come out this way......There hasn't even been an official announcement but I guess I'll break it to you guys..... The decision has been made to rename Delirium to The Great Pumpkin Frisbee for the 2014 season to compliment one of the park's most popular attractions known as, The Great Pumpkin Coaster, located in Planet Snoopy. New for 2014 : The Great Pumpkin Frisbee Location: Action Zone Duration: 2 minutes, 30 seconds Height Requirement: 52 inches Manufacturer: Huss Realism of this post: Not much

I wanted to know the exact same thing, as I hadn't heard anything from or about him recently so I decided to ask Don back in November and this is what he had to say......

Great pictures and nice report. By the way, the name of the Arrow mine coaster is River King Mine Train, which was the first coaster installed at the park back in 1971, I believe. I'm glad you enjoyed the your visit to Six Flags Over Mid-........Oh, yeah, ......Six Flags St. Louis.
