  1. Another reason that will not work is that unless a second lift hill is being placed somewhere else? It isn't dueling.
  2. If you can ride Racer/Beast, you will more than likely be able to ride a GCI. The Lap-bars are a T restraint, non-hydraulic. (At least from what I remember with Thunderhead.) But you should be completely fine. I'm sure they will have a test seat available.
  3. Picture posted via Daniels Wood Land, Inc. Facebook Page.
  4. Retheme Adventure Express to a Coal mining operation in the Appalachian mountains? Tnt final tunnel?
  5. To me, it sounds like they gave the themeing to the shed away, but they didn't set it apart the actual thing that will be in the shed. Why would KI post something like that if they knew they were giving away the shed's mysterious, and the most hyped part about this attraction? Doesn't make sense to me at all.
  6. I did an AD on the 16 hour shift. That was bad enough, Longest shift of the year.
  7. Larger picture. (Trust me, I tried to brighten the image to see inside. Doesn't work.
  8. ^ The park would probably create a separate 3rd shift, with no one allowed to work a triple.
  9. I believe the park is not allowed to operate Diamondback past a certain time, Noise complaints I think. I don't really remember though. But other than that, there are probably other reasons they cannot operate past a certain time.
  10. I was going to say 12 years isn't a long time, but that's also 12 years. (ISJC anyone? Now BLSC) It had plenty of themeing before CF took over and stripped it a little bit. Still plenty of themeing though on the ride. Most rides lost their themeing once CF took over, now it looks like CF is attempting to return to themeing of rides. The Beast lurks near the Miami River Lumber Co.
  11. I would say that they should have tunnel fog year round... Before the train hits the tunnel it starts a bunch of fog at the entrance.
  12. Wouldn't be the first time they produced music for a roller coaster. http://www.imascore.com/portfolio Their attraction's portfolio is full of rides, mostly Euro based though.
  13. I highly doubt 1/3 of the ride was dedicated to airtime. Even with 16 airtime hills.
  14. I am seeing airtime, but it's like a quick pop, mostly towards the back. Anyone noticing how the first two trains don't have a white section of the side of it? Maybe the first two trains are just for testing purposes and they're not going to be on the final ride? Photo from the Video below
  15. Or all three trains are the same colour... Remember the first video showed water dummy's on the train, This one does not. (That doesn't mean they took them off, but that also could mean it's a different train.) Lead Cars are temporary for now. (Probably wanting to make sure nothing bad happens to the lead car, or they are setting them up to be ready to go.)
  16. ^ I believe they don't have the Lead-cars yet, or they wanted to test it before putting them on.
  17. I don't see how Ohio can be East Coast. Let me say those last two words again. EAST COAST. Were Mid-west, because we're not in the East coast, nor the West Coast, so we're the Mid-west. TECHNICALLY, We're one of the Great Lake States if you really want to get technical. Besides that, For BGT, I think they'd keep the animals, but they'd probably have something like, less Animals? More expansion for a smaller habitat.
  18. That video also shows an incomplete tunnel for a first test ride.
  19. Long detailed post, but the renderings for the Shed will not be the final product. They're an idea. There is more than likely going to be an opening for the Transfer track for crews to add or remove trains from the ride during the winter and so on. Not only that, but even if they did that, what you are saying about it. It's not hard for them to still take the trains off without a transfer track. See Invertigo. They disassemble bogies from the train and remove the trains from there. (Information does not come from the park. It's mostly just common sense. Plus other parks stating this. (I'd have to find that information though.)
  20. I have put a little bit of thought to it, and I would say maybe Holiday World possibly? I would also say Dollywood, but they're an independently owned amusement park, that is doing very well on their own. Same can go for Holiday World. I'd miss the free stuff if CF too over it. But those are my two candidates.
  21. I see a Photo shed at the top middle. And I also am curious why they put the tunnel there... I just feel like it's just a randomly placed tunnel with no true connection to anything. So I really am interested in what they do in the Interior of the tunnel.
  22. I'm only 5'10, and if I put my hands up, I can probably easily hit the top of the helix tunnel.
