If it had anything to do with a bat it would be very strange. It would not be original seeing that one Cedar Fair park already has a coaster named "The Bat". And it would also kinda mock Son of Beast because they would be putting a sequel ride ontop of where a defunct sequel once stood. On the other hand, it would be awesome for KI to bring back "The Bat" concept in a new form.

Sweet mother of mayhem, please tell me you aren't serious. I am very serious -
This is what I get when I'm on the site "404 ERROR - PAGE NOT FOUND We are sorry, but we cannot find the page you are looking for." Sounds more like:

No pics, just words. So after golf try outs, my friends, Tyler, Jennifer, Tyler's mom, and I went to KI. We rode Flight Deck, Flight of Fear, The Beast. Tyler wimped out on Diamondback so he left Jennifer, his mom, and I at Diamondback while he just went to Flight of Fear. They were running ghost trains for like 15 minutes. Then when they started to board passengers, the reds played got on. After about an hour later, we rode Diamondback. Jen and I rode the train while we waited for Tyler to come back. Then he wimped out on Vortex so Jen and I rode it while him and his mom rode backlot. I found out that they weren't loading people in the last car because of roll backs. So after Vortex, Jen and I rode Adventure Express and called it a day.

The Amusement Park World without Kings Island
SonofBaconator replied to SonofBaconator's topic in Kings Island
I think that if it wasn't for the success that Racer had, there wouldn't be as such big wooden coasters. Even if someone else made a coaster as successful as Racer at another park, it wouldn't be the same. -

I still believe that part of that $25 million was from the demolishing of Son of Beast and Thunder Alley

Son of Beast was a "remarkable" coaster. It's intentions were good, but the outcomes were bad.
-
You know, I kinda thought the same thing with the no limits coasters on YouTube
-
Because its a fake blueprint.

I'd do it but unfortunately, S.O.B. is trying to stay awake

According to the Cedar Point D&D guy when we went there in June, its going to be a Giga. Those pesky D&D guys not being on the same page! They need to have their own site. DDC-Dippin Dots Central

What i am having trouble understanding is why would this particular coaster cost so much? Lets just say it is an invert. Why so much more of a price tag than other inverts around the world?Theme, could be new type of invert that costs a lot, steel price has gone upDiamondback was the park's biggest investment and S.O.B. was the second so it would also have to be the things surrounding it. Also, could it have just been that the demolition of S.O.B. was considered part of the coaster's cost?
-
That's pretty accurate. I can picture a zero-g-roll right by AE
-
If its recorded breaking, then I doubt it's going to be a Wing Rider like GK.
-
"Speigel estimated the coaster will cost about $25 million to build" I'm gonna pull a Terp. "Guffaw"

I think it would be kinda dumb to base a steel coaster off of a wooden legend. And it would be more dumb to do this when the ride that previously occupied that space was indeed a wooden sequel
