  1. I agree with you actually, and in the highlighted space ALOT of trees would probably have to come down to make room. Oh well. Always nice to dream!
  2. I'd love a view like that from international street.
  3. Last year was the first one for me. The cold and rain could have made it a crappy day, but it wasn't happening. I brought along some friends who had never been to the park and a couple of them had never been on a coaster. That's what made it so memorable for me, seeing their nervousness before the ride, and the excitement after. The crowds weren't too bad but we decided to get Fast Lane passes anyway. Jumping to the front of the line was awesome and made the experience all the better. It's crazy, I did it, and I still can't fathom the idea of doing it. Looking forward to making the most of Opening Day 2013. It cannot get here fast enough.
  4. http://silivingmag.com/building-on-a-legacy-holiday-worlds-new-president-and-ceo/ Great article! I think Holiday World is going to be doing just fine with Matt at the helm. He may not be a Koch, but he seems to hold the same values and ideas of the Kochs. There are some exciting years ahead for HW, and it will be interesting to see where he takes the park.
  5. I just want to say as a new member to this forum, going through these pictures have brought back great memories and provided me a little peek at history as well. Keep up the awesome work!
  6. First time I rode it was when i was 13. Back then I loved coasters, but still got extremely nervous on anything I rode. When it was my turn to ride, I was literally shaking and was white in the face. That disappeared as soon as the ride took off! That one ride killed any future nervousness of riding coasters. I still remember the headache that the head restraints gave me though! haha
  7. I remember riding this for the first time back in '03 with no clue what to expect. I loved every second of it. It was a great escape from the heat too. Couldn't help but feel a little sad walking by it last year.
  8. I like to ride with my best friends. There's nothing quite like bonding over a ride on Diamondback. I wish I could say I like to ride with my wife, but she is terrified of any coaster but the Raven at Holiday World for some reason.
  9. It was an off year for me, only 1 time. It was opening day and I had a Fast Lane pass so I at least made the most of it. This year that will change since I've purchased my first Gold Pass. Also helps that I now only live about 2 hours away.
  10. I just joined today. First time caller, long time listener..haha I don't know why I waited until now because I've been coming to this site for a couple years.
