Wow, I hadn't thought about Archie for years. I used to read those comics all the time as a kid! My mom would buy me a double digest every time we went to Krogers.

Last year we had the warm 80 degree days for most of March and early April. I'm thinking this year since we have had such a cold March, that come Opening Day we will get to enjoy a nice sunny 70 degree day. A guy can dream right??

I really miss the weather from last year. It was 80 degrees here on this day a year ago... Spring really needs to kick in, it's starting to bum me out!

I haven't been since opening day last year, so that's... 10 months, and 17 days. Too too long...

^ Couldn't agree more. I love the foursquare layout, as it usually helps open the room up and makes it easier to get a drink! I cannot wait for this place to open up! Now my question is, are they going to show Reds games only, or can we expect to see other games playing, and watch other sports as well? I understand if it's strictly Reds games only, seeing as it is the theme of the restaurant and all, but checking up on other games and sports would be nice.

Agreed. Definitely taking advantage of this deal. I wish I knew the size though. If I had to guess, I'd say 32 oz. If that's true, then it's a really good deal!

Just making sure... you know that KI is only open Saturday of that weekend, unless you work for the compan(ies) that have the park reserved on Sunday? Of course, I'm staying Friday and Saturday night.

Well speaking of hotels/motels the Super 8 near the park is going at rates of $34 a night. I'm not sure if this is a deal they will have going once the season gets going or not, but I was able to book a room for two nights for opening day weekend this year at that price.

Totally agree with this! I would add maybe an option for a light gray as well.

I'm not a baseball fan myself, but I am still psyched for this. I love the sports bar style menu, and I think the atmosphere is going to be awesome for any sports fan.

The Beast definitely. The coaster brought the park to up to a whole new level and it became known worldwide. It's still one of the top wooden coasters out there after 30+ years, quite an accomplishment if you ask me.

Last week it was the harlem shake, this week its those dang goat videos. What's next?

Personally, I don't think I will go out of my way to KK for just a water park when HW is far superior and closer to me. They are going to have to open with some sort of special attraction, not water park related, to pull people away from HW and KI. I want to believe that they will have a good plan while moving forward with the re-opening. I really really want to see the park thrive again.

Social media is power these days, and its smart for the park to branch out all across that spectrum. I now have a reason to get an instagram account.
