Agreed, the weather here in Indy is amazing! Hopefully it will stay like this for awhile. I'm tired of shoveling snow.

I hope they start testing soon. Maybe, just maybe they can do it a bit early and have the water jugs come back frozen? lol. j/k. Ride is looking fantastic. Eager to see the station as KI does a great job with their stations on all of their rides. Wondering how "Loud" Banshee will be, like, Raptor/Mantis loud? I will say this. The new restraints are great! Having ridden Gatekeeper a couple of times last year and then riding Raptor the newer restraints are much better. Looking forward to feeling them on an inverted coaster.

That's awesome! Wanted to check it out at Cedar Point and get some good shots of MF but didn't want to pay. Will have to check it out when I do the Coaster Campout.

Whatever it is i'm sure it will be great. I just don't know if it can beat MF station music. Everytime I hear it I always get pumped up.

I voted for Flight Deck but I have so many amazing memories on Iron Dragon. The one thing that Iron Dragon has on Flight Deck is length. It's a much longer ride but that doesn't mean its better.

On the leg part? No. Overall? Yes. The shoulder restraints need to be converted to I305's.

I knew that they had 3 trains but that was a long time ago. I have never waited very long for Gemini. Plus I only ride when the blue side is running.

I use my iPhone 5 and my iPad Mini all the time and love them both. But, for browsing forums and doing other internet stuff I am on my desktop.

I would tend to agree ^. I am also a big dude, 6'3 260. I fit fine on all of the coasters at KI and CP.

Seems like a lot of people are throwing idea's out there, here's mine! Build something to rival Millenium Force. I know I will take a bunch of flack for this but wooden coasters are just not my thing. Is The Beast fun? Sure, but it's far from the best ride out there. I still like it and it does do a number of great things but I have really no desire to ride wooden anymore. Call me old, lol.

I would be up for going during the week. I have finals this week so I thought I would reward myself on Friday for finishing this semester. We will have to choose a date here coming up. So no one is going this Friday? Guess I don't need Fast Lane, lol.

As an Engineering student this is more fascinating than the riding the rides! Great article. Big shout out to all the staff that keeps all of the coasters around the country up and running. A pretty thankless job for sure.

Well, opening day is a bust for me. Just too much going on. I will be there on May 3rd though if anyone wants to meet up. Bringing a friend from college that hasn't ridden Diamondback yet. Should be fun for sure.

I was thinking about it. I have a trip planned for May 3rd to go and then on the 19-22 to go to Cedar Point. I would be down to go if you wanted to car pool.

Hey everyone! Name is Skyler, I have been riding since the late 80's. Been to Cedar Point over 100 times, I think, lol. Came over to Kings Island in 2011 and had a blast. Figured this year I would get a season pass. I live on the west side of Indy so it's not that bad of a drive. Since I don't have to work on Fridays I will be at the park every week. Not sure if you guys/gals to meetups like PointBuzz does but I figured if I am going all the time then I would try and meet up with some other fanatics. I'm sure i'll go during the week also as i'm working up to summer break for school. Thanks everyone, seems like a nice little community you have here. Glad that I could join. BTW, I know Cedar Point has a bunch of good coasters but Diamondback is one of my fav's. If you have to know, my top coaster is Gemini at Cedar Point. I have been on it so many times that I lost count. Love the helix at the end and the steel bar that makes you think it will take your hands off.
