I was close. I got the red and white part right at least. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php/topic/29812-whats-up-with-shake-rattle-and-roll/page-4#entry633751

You Know It's the Off Season When...
CharleyTheDinosaur replied to Ride On_17's topic in Kings Island
When I go into hibernation and don't check KICentral for 4 months. -
Longest line I've had so far was when I got my Fast Lane a few minutes ago. Might as well use it. Fast Lane lines look to be just a little shorter on some things.

So far I've walked onto Racer, Diamondback, and The Beast. It's chilly but the wind isn't too bad so it could be worse.

I'm excited for the petting zoo. My wife probably won't let me go pet the animals though. She doesn't enjoy fun. Also, even though they aren't the old Flying Eagles, I'm looking forward to Woodstock Gliders. When I was a kid my mom and I used to go on the Flying Eagles a lot. She was awesome at them. I didn't even know snapping them wasn't just a regular part of the ride until I saw it on KIC. She was so good that 7 year old me wouldn't even try to take over controlling the rudder. I'd just sit there and let her go. Then came my teenage years when I didn't want to be caught dead on a kiddie ride. After that, the later Paramount years when I only visited the park a couple of times in 6 or 7 years. But now that some Flying Scooters are back, I'll have to practice. And maybe when I have kids, and they are big enough to ride, I can be as good on Woodstock Gliders as she was on the Flying Eagles.

Please note that the park has already made it clear that SR&R will return from rehab in its previous spot. That is not the basis of this announcement. Oh sorry. I forgot the previous spot part when it was announced it was coming back.

I'm guessing new Flying Eagles in Shake, Rattle, and Roll's old spot. And Shake, Rattle, and Roll relocating to Planet Snoopy with a new name and color scheme. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed though that it doesn't move and takes on a Big Red Machine theme. I'll keep dreaming. Edit: Welp this isn't happening.

WDW Hollywood Studios

Maybe they're updating it to look like a modern day movie studio. Green screens everywhere! Then for only $79.99 you can buy a digital copy of your visit complete with CGI fun and excitement.- 85 replies

I'm pretty excited for the floorless trains. I've ridden Mantis many times but never really was able to enjoy it because of the pain in my umm lower region. Although, I'm hoping that the trains will ultimately have the vest style restraints instead of the hard over the shoulder ones as shown in the video. Seems unlikely now though. Ok after seeing that video, getting kicked in the face at The Beast is now my #2 pet peeve right behind seeing people smoking outside designated areas. Nothing will ever beat that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just in The Beast station? So you're ok with getting kicked in the face everywhere else? And how many times has this happened that it's a pet peeve? So many questions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They could. Why knows? And if so, does that area have an involvement in their 2015 plans? Later?I've been wondering if a possible Mantis removal has more to do with 2016 or later than 2015. Possibly a dark ride similar to Guardian in 2015 somewhere else in the park. Then construction on a new large coaster beginning late in the 2015 season in the spot formerly occupied by Mantis. Sounds cool. I've never actually been through a maze. It's not really my thing. I would still like to see the operation and work that goes into it though. Hey can we get a few of the actors try to scare the group with the lights on? That'd be hilariously awkward. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't know how long the wait will be but the line for Larosa's in the Festhaus is pretty long. Only one side is open and only one cashier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Banshee down more than most B&M coasters?
CharleyTheDinosaur replied to Oldschool75's topic in Kings Island
Its a brand new complex machine. The bugs are probably still being worked out. I'm sure there are still some bad or overly sensitive sensors. It's better than the alternative of sensors not tripping when they are needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Backlot Stunt Coaster was open for a little bit right at opening. (Unless those were employees testing it I saw riding). Diamondback still had all three trains on the transfer track when I walked by about 30 minutes ago. Seemed kind of odd. Staffing issues perhaps? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh they should do like Walmart on Black Friday. Just wheel out the pizza and hot dogs out on pallets say once an hour and let people fight for them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wow, this may be an excellent people watching experience. I'd imagine this will bring out some people who frankly don't get out of the house much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
