I wonder how much it'd cost me to get an O'CharleyTheDinosaur gravestone made. On a side note, I think it'd be cool if Kings Island did an auction for charity to have your name put on a gravestone and forever immortalized at Banshee's queue. Slightly morbid but cool. Nobody would ever ride this. 14 days without being able to use a cell phone is inhuman.

I was going up the lift hill on Vortex and behind me a father tells his son "It used to be called The Corkscrew". It took every thing I had to not turn around and yell "That is wrong and ridiculous!"

I think I've ridden The Bat more times this year than I rode Flight Deck/Top Gun in the last 15 years. I wanted to check out the new color scheme so I rode it for the first time in several years. I forgot how intense and fun it was.

Oh the humanity

For our very unscientific but hilarious count we kept today, in 30 minutes there were 53 instances of people (families and groups counted as 1) being told their belongings had to go into a locker or kept with a non rider. We only noticed 4 times where people read the sign and took care of their belongings without being told to do so.

There's a Rita's not 10 miles away from me in Kettering and I've never had it. I need to remedy that sometime.

Whenever I get a gun that doesn't work I slam it back into the holder, cross my arms, and pout like a child.

Not a huge crowd today. If some showers go through this afternoon the park could really clear out.

I may have a new favorite pastime at Kings Island. I'm sitting here outside of Banshee's entrance watching people get told all loose articles must go in a locker. I swear some lady just about cried. I'm a horrible person.

I have to admit, I thought the same thing.

Dang it! This year I took vacation from work those days because it's my favorite week of the year to visit the park. Hopefully enough schools will be back in that the crowds still won't be huge.

The only problem I could see with it is if someone decides to make a mini tailgate party. A couple of times this year I've seen people set up chairs behind their spot and into the driving lane. If that became a trend it could be a major liability. I don't know why anyone would have a problem with people eating inside of their vehicle though.

Sounds like no FUN to me.

It did last week when I was in there. I really hope that with the shuffling around they are doing the soccer game in that arcade doesn't go anywhere. Even though one of the paddle thingys is getting hard to move around it's still incredibly fun.

The running of the Banshee herd at opening has been one of my favorite things to watch this year.

Oh maybe if she can't use them and riders number 100,000,001 and 100,000,002 can't go then maybe I'll get the tickets. That's how it works right?
