Was not me. Don is ready at the exit though. Another train or two probably. -

They just announced in the station it's about to happen. Small grain of salt probably should be taken with that. -

I don't know why but this sign out front today made me laugh. -
If Kings Island keeps the stationary fountains, I'd love to see an arch bridge built so you can really get up close.

First thing we did so it was walk on also. Here's a picture of the parking lot right now if anyone is interested.

Very minimal wait times so far today. We've walked onto Diamondback, Banshee, Backlot Stunt Coaster and The Beast.

The neatness in which they are dismantling it leads me to believe it's just going to be refurbished. Maybe it'll get a new color scheme. I'm sorry but those colors look terrible together. In a completely unfounded wishful thinking side note, how awesome would it be for Shake, Rattle, and Roll to come back painted red with white cars and called The Big Red Machine. If Cedar Point can have a Lebron themed ride why can't we have a Reds one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No Loose Articles in the Banshee Station
CharleyTheDinosaur replied to Young Gunz's topic in Kings Island
I love the fact that Banshee doesn't have bins but I really wish they'd do something different with all of the flip flops. On Monday I kicked someone's and it slid through the open exit gate. Being the nice guy that I am, I picked it up and tossed it back near its mate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I personally don't mind them. The problem that I have with them is that sometimes it's hard to tell if it is an e-cigarette or a regular cigarette. I'm sure there are impressionable guests that see someone smoking an e-cigarette and assume all smoking is allowed in line. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Light crowd today. Not totally dead but definitely not busy. About 15 minute wait for Diamondback and Banshee. Vortex is walk-on. Edit: I just noticed Banshee is only running 2 trains. Otherwise it'd be walk-on also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This one applies everywhere but it seems very prevalent at Kings Island. Kids on leashes. Why is this a thing now? The worst part is that in the families I see using them, there are usually two adults for every child. It's not like a single mother with four toddlers we're talking about here. The other day while walking into the park I saw a child on a leash trip and fall. The parent who wasn't paying attention (Because why would you? Your child is on a leash. You don't need to be attentive) trips over the leash and falls, almost onto the child. I made sure everyone got up and was ok before I laughed hysterically. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wonder if they run out of cans with the name Bort on them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dang it. I decided to stay home and watch Troll 2 instead of going to the park yesterday evening. On the other hand you can never go wrong with Troll 2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is one of those times I'd love to hear their reasoning. Unfortunately for us, it really doesn't benefit the park to speak on the matter. If only we had Hard Knocks: Amusement Park Edition to get a look at what goes on behind closed doors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just heard "I'll meet you over at the Scooby-Doo House of Horrors". Luckily, someone corrected this person and said "It's Scooby-Doo's Haunted House". Sigh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think Kings Island should stick with the kids' lunch theme. I'm guessing the Big Noodle will be replace by a giant sculpture of cut up hotdogs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here I've got a simple fix. Put in some zombie theming. The theming can get as run down as Mother Nature allows and it would fit right in with a zombie apocalypse. Maybe have one them pop out from behind the barrel at the second launch just in time to make an escape. (When I was writing this it was intended as a joke, but if it was done right that might actually work.) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Why was Top Gun built where it was?

So we could hear more Kenny Loggins on the long walk? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- 33 replies

I finally got to see the show and it was fantastic. As I'm sure Devan can attest to, I didn't want to look away (Yeah I saw you in my peripheral looking over to see my reaction). I can't imagine the training it takes to pull off the acts they perform. Not only that but literally dozens of times during the show their lives were on the line. There is little to no margin of error. The videos don't do the show justice. If you haven't seen it you need to go see it live. I'm going to make sure and see it several more times this summer. When I was a kid, I would take much better care of the toys I bought more than the ones I was given as hand-me-downs. I hope Cedar Fair has these same feelings with their big expensive toys. Ever the optimist I guess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
