  1. I didn't ask you if it was an ash tree. Also, how do you determine the height of a missing tree? Did you have pics of it from last year? Do you have photographic tree memory?
  2. How did you determine they were healthy?
  3. The clearing and tree cutting could be as simple as what they needed to do to remove the dinos. The fence is what they would have to do to keep people from walking into the old dino area or into The Racer area. Nothing to see here. Yet.
  4. That explains why I barely could ride last year. It had been years since I last rode, and never had a problem. Never even remembered thinking about the restraints being tight. Last year I had to scrunch all the way down and my shoulders were still crunched in to get the belt latched. I mean I knew I put some weight on, but that doesn't affect my butt to shoulder distance. If they did indeed shorten the belt, that would make more sense.
  5. They could always run it out through the center island of the parking lot and make a loop around the sign. No land use issues there.
  6. I'm still not convinced whats in the shed.
  7. And I'd get my rides in on The Racer before 2038 if I were you....
  8. Put me down for $20 on a giga in 2020.
  9. The Weinstein Company was highly regarded till the world found out what a douchebag Harvey was. And they completely skipped the engineering on the ride and ignored the experts who told them it was dangerous. Reading the indictment, they actually might have been better off using RCT to design it.
  10. Well, if it was The Racer, we could watch the webcam to see Don strapped to the backhoe.
  11. Theres absolutely no way they put a shed on an Intamin Giga. The animation would be too unreliable.
  12. Yeah, Disney spent a Billion Dollars on Avatar land. Great example...
  13. No matter what they build, a portion of their audience will be disappointed.
  14. Kinda. The construction company is in house for the water park, and is only there to build and design the park's rides. It's Henry and Sons Construction Company. They really are going after the overall company, owners, and designers.
  15. They should have chosen Never gonna give you up and only Never gonna give you up.
  16. If they build a giga, it'll give you more time to enjoy MT as people will be riding the new ride instead.
  17. I get that they are names used in Mythology. I just don't think they are using them specifically because of that. I think they are using names that signify large things, and any connection to mythology is coincidental. Look at Behemoth, the theming is minimal and there is no connection to a horned monster. Ziz doesn't fit the naming connection. It only fits the mythology connections. If they do that, it opens them up to the question of why they named them all after Jewish Mythology. It's safer to go a different direction. Considering the new coaster is a drop coaster, a flying monster theme works, but I just can't see them naming it Ziz.
  18. Leviathan and Behemoth are also terms used to describe large things. Ziz isn't. They'll have to explain that one to people. Once they do, they'll have to be ready for backlash as we are in the offended generation. It's safer just to name them after something generic and large.
  19. You think that if someone says that a giga and a hyper are too similar, that comments from some guy that works for the company would change their mind?
  20. Yeah, there is no way they get a conviction for murder. Involuntary manslaughter would be the stiffest thing they could get a conviction on. If they actually take them to court on murder charges, the DA is trying to lose the case. Edit: After reading more, it appears that Kansas has a "reckless" second degree murder that this would fall under. Basically doing something that kills somebody where intent was not to kill, but was done with indifference to the value of human life. I still think they'd be better off going after involuntary manslaughter, but I can see them trying them under this law.
  21. Campgrounds take up more space and aren't as profitable as hotels. Also, like you mentioned, you give people an easier route to avoid buying food at the park. The amount of people not coming to the park because they don't offer a campground is going to be small enough that there is not enough ROI. Theres a reason there isn't one there any more.
  22. It's inevitable since they are made of fossil fuels.....
  23. A quick google search says fines and probation, with the court overseeing the business.
