Schlitterbahn? More like Schitturpants. (Unfortunately, I can't take credit for this one. I saw it in a comment on a FB picture from the top of the slide. I laughed out loud when I read it.)

A while back I heard one of these was in the plans. I'm surprised where it's headed though. I would've thought a major amusement park would have built one. We'll have to see if more of these are built eventually.

Big Dipper at Geauga Lake. I don't remember the year or my exact age, but I was around 5 or 6. Then I went straight from that to Dragster when I was 7.

For me, Adventure Express needs a new ending. That tunnel can stay, but extend the ride and add at least another 30 seconds. I hate that ending and I don' think it will ever grow on me. I like coasters to end with a bang, not by building anticipation and then suddenly ending.

Recently I saw on Pointbuzz that Emily, daugher of Cedar Point Live Entertainment Production Manager Dan Deming, was diagnosed with brain cancer. What if a new haunt would open where you'd have to crawl the entire way, or at least for a decent part of it. I feel like this could really be made scary if the right effects are used. You would feel so much more confined and helpless.

I'd get rid of Adventure Express. I know, I know, many of you love it. But don't worry--I'd replace it with a bigger, better coaster of similar thrill and type. It just doesn't impress me. Plus the tunnels smell bad. I don't know why some of you love it.

A geaugacoaster? Carowinds must be getting Big Dipper! They're just raising it 250 feet higher!

If Delerium is to get repainted, I'd also like to be black and green. I like that color combination, and it would fit the apparently new theme of Action Zone.

Well, for one thing that article says that this coaster will be a "giagacoaster." Also, it also says that this coaster will be only the 3rd of its kind in the country. Well, there are already 3 giga coasters...And there are already 3 wing riders...And I can't think of any other type of coaster in the country that there are only 2 of. So I really don't believe anything in this article about the coaster except that it will be over 300 feet high and maybe its location.

Neither did I at first, but now it's grown on me. Not my first choice for that coaster, but it makes sense and highlights its signature element.

My family is planning on going back to KI sometime in the summer. I'll ride Banshee first during the day, but I'll probably also go on it at night (but it will be my 2nd to last ride of the night, saving that highly anticipated night Beast ride for last!)

I agree. Not only would I miss him if he leaves so soon but it would be completely idiotic to get ride of him. He is just what Cedar Fair needs.

My last coaster of the season was Millennium Force. It's hard to believe I'll have to wait through a long, cold winter before being able to ride any more coasters.

Considering I had my first visit to the park, I'd say it was amazing! Going to KI for the very 1st time was awesome, but I also loved following all the 2014 speculation on these forums (which is how I first got started in this great community.)

I actually really like the rumored name that turned out to be Gatekeeper...Lotan. It sounds cool and it could have a cool backstory and some theming. Plus I'd love for it to be a green and blue coaster. However started that rumor got me pretty excited, but Gatekeeper's more fitting and emphasizes its most unique feature.

Though it is likely that this will be the name of a future addition at Carowinds, keep in mind that this name could be for a ride planned for another park.

Remember the backlash when the name Gatekeeper was first found out about? People just like to complain. It's like no matter what parks do for us, some people still can't get enough.

Turns out not everything that workers tell you is crap.

That would make sense. I'm guessing they will get that rumored big coaster in 2015. Hopefully Centurion (whatever it is, IF it even becomes something) gets some decent theming.
