How long was the wait, and with or without FP (is it even useable today?) About 20 to 30 min. both times . There was two levels of VIP badges mine was the yellow (which is what most people had) then there was a pink badge that could get you in the FastLane .

Btw , not sure if there's a better themed ride at any other Cedar Fair park than Banshee

Rode it twice so far . Blue train row 5 far right and Purple train row 8 far left . The back is definitely where it's at , good amount of force especially the second half of ride . Great experience even though my fingers are still numb from the cold. Will be much more fun when the temps warm up !

Point taken ,but that Bat logo is awesome . I'm 42 and was fortunate enough to ride the original,I'm guessing that there will definitely be a lot of Bat gear being worn next year '

It's quite possible that The Bat merchandise could outsell Banshee next year

Seems fitting to go in Coney section .I would place it in between Zephyr and DA entrance nothing really in between there right now except the arcade and a few small game booths .

There is certainly a skunk that has set up home somewhere underneath AE . More times than not this season while entering the queue you could smell of its existence. And many times at night in various locations throughout the park ( especially in the parking lot ), one can smell "skunky" odors but I don't think it's from any animal

It's obviously not an issue with the train parked on lift hill as far as the lift motor is concerned , otherwise they wouldn't do it .

They say this ride will have an elevation change of 208' , does anybody know what the elevation change is on The Beast ? Just curious

We love CP so much my wife and myself have been looking at houses up on Erie , looked at house yesterday on the coast east of Vermillion ( I guess it's about 30 miles from CP ) but sure enough you can see TTD an MF from that distance .Those two coasters are awesome spectacles from any distance .

I'm not sure on the height of the structure but I believe the ball itself can travel as high as 230'

YoungStud, I had a similar fear early on but now knowing that the ride is going to reach top speed later in the ride It could be B&M's step in a better direction for the more forceful rides it used to make.I had the same, but look at the size of the elements. The bigger the elements the less force. Look at how large the batwing is compared to montu's.we'll just have to wait and see but remember at that point in the ride it will be at its top speed

I have rode Gatekeeper four times over three different weekends this year so far and have not had any issues with the restraints whatsoever . I actually like the design and feel they have

Attended last nights announcement and I don't think anyone went home disappointed . Love everything about the layout (certainly not a cookie cutter), can't wait til next April . Going to be another jewel in KI's crown !

The "blueprints" had a denotion on them of "N.T.S." - NOT TO SCALE it would be rather difficult to discern anything from them other than layout

First time post but long time follower of KIC ! Really enjoy this thread ! I was really hoping for a 300' coaster but I believe what matters most is whether or not it's going to be a quality riding experience no matter what style or manufacturer it may be . And it absolutely must be able to have high passenger capacity. I go to KI and CP quite a bit each year especially KI , and it seems that the wait times get longer and longer .
