It's a launched El Loco and the end the video shows the S&S logo. They released a concept a few months ago. Apparently one more is planned in the U.S. this year.

I wonder what this means for Carowinds' Vortex of even the one at CGA. Maybe they'd even consider altering the track layout with the conversion.

Baron 1898 is a much smaller model than the rumored dive coaster. Also, just look at the track on the Sheikra clone in China. It's very similar to this. http://rcdb.com/4224.htm#p=47077

The track looks fairly similar to the Sheikra clone in China. I'm willing to bet this is a dive coaster.[EDIT] And it looks like I was right about the supports being purplish-blue! I knew those colors would fit Valravn better!

Is that real? And no matter how hard Cedar Point tries, they will never dethrone Raptor as the park's best B&M.

So, this is a bit off topic, but I'm going to the park today and want to know if MF and TTD are just as forgiving if not more forgiving than B&M speed coasters. My mother can fit Intimidator and Fury325 just fine, but is there anything at Cedar Point she needs to worry about?

We don't have that much history left in the park to appreciate. I think that's what #SaveThunderRoad is all about. To many who have visited the park for a long time, they are tired of seeing ride after ride sent to the grave, and this is the last straw. I hate to agree with them but Carowinds has kind of lost its identity. I like to fantasize about how the park would look today if Paramount hadn't gotten hold of it (or at least left after 1999). I personally think Carowinds was the best "Disneyland Clone" built during the golden age of amusement parks. I hope Cedar Fair could bring back that charm the park had in the 70's.

The brown/grey will look great up against Raptor, but I can't see it being named Valravn anymore. Unless they do purple supports. That would be an awesome color scheme! It's also nice that they went with the two-tone track with the second color on the bottom of the spine like Fury.

I've always thought one of these would look great at Worlds of Fun. Personally, I think it looks odd at a place like Lake Compounce. It should be a great addition nonetheless.

This looks like a solid addition to the park, and it has a rather unique layout for a Eurofighter.

I thought Dodgems was being relocated to Minigolf.

You can actually fit 3-4 large slide complexes where Thunder Road's turnarounds are. Not that I think that space will be completely used by next year.

I have a feeling we will see more than just a water park expansion.....

What color exactly is Mako supposed to be? The concept art shows light blue track with purple rails/crossties and purple supports. The POV shows purple track with light blue supports.

And that's how Michigan's Adventure will get a hyper-gtx.

Can anyone tell if the the new grey paint on Vortex is legitimate paint? Or is it just primer?
