  1. I haven't but I did try the blue ice cream hot chocolate during WinterFest.
  2. That didn't take long! I was just at the park a couple weeks ago when I bought the purple tie dye shirt... we are going to try to go for WinterFest so hopefully they'll still have the merchandise. (And possibly even more.)
  3. Possibly but I'm thinking the Maestros cat is a reference to the cat being scared by the big mouse from the original ride.
  4. I absolutely love this! I can tell a lot of time and effort went into making this. Also does it say the Maestro would also be at the end after you get off the ride? If so then that would be really cool!
  5. I love that idea! It'll work too since the Phantom Theater will be in Kiddie Land and thats where they sell the Blue ice cream at. (I call it that because I'm not sure if it'll be Planet/Camp Snoopy next year...)
  6. Growing up at Kings Island I have heard numerous names for Kings Islands famous blue ice cream. When I was younger in Hanna-Barbera Land, my mom would call it Huckleberry Hound cream, I know some people call it Smurf Ice cream but growing up for me it was Huckleberry Hound, what name did you call it or have heard others call it?
  7. Yes I did wonder that too, but a lot of people have been wanting a Phantom Theater return but then again if the Peanuts were the original idea and if they aren't returning for the 2026 they went with an IP that was already owned by Kings Island to replace that idea that being the Phantom Theater. Which will be sad for those who are fans of the Peanuts, but I'm more happy to see The Phantom Theater return.
  8. I wonder also if they are going to change the loading station back or similar to how to how it was when it was Phantom Theater I think Boo Blasters lacks in the theming with that.
  9. On the Sally Corporation website it does say there will be animatronics in the ride as well, so it's not going to be a completely screen based ride!
  10. Boo Blasters did for the first few years but for some odd reason they moved those to the opening graveyard scene in the ride, they also used to play eerie music in the que and they got rid of that too.
  11. I would love it if they would do that! The Boo Blasters que felt so bare without anything like that! Well at least there's the FunTVs....
  12. One thing fingers crossed is for the Maestro returns to booth! (I hope they don't leave it empty for the new attraction.)
  13. I'm satisfied for all Phantom Theater fans like myself for the Maestro to finally be back in the park. Over the past few years it seems like Kings Island has been teasing it, especially Kings Islands 50th anniversary fireworks where the Maestro was literally at the end of it laughing and saying "You'll be back...", as well as the Phantom Encore show, it makes me wonder if they'll have The Maestro and other PT characters as regular meet & greet characters as well, now that would be great!
  14. I'm really excited as well, honestly this is the most I've been excited since the teasers for Mystic Timbers.
  15. I can't count how many times I've been to KI and walk by this game and there is always someone who is bragging they are going to make every shot...
  16. I wonder if Kings Island will do a walk through for a small amount of visitors for Boo Blasters similar in 2002 for the Phantom Theater before the next ride transformation. https://www.dafe.org/articles/darkrides/phantomPharewell.html?fbclid=IwdGRjcAMbXz1jbGNrAxtesWV4dG4DYWVtAjExAAEeXdNQhTPZmblExf2EDIDA-6PjJ4KE3QCTt9_1khv0JjoI2zJgU41B_UAOubw_aem_hQ2Bm8kNrwtiT7lP6XdCbg
  17. I doubt its going to be an exact replica but if it is with today's technology I would appreciate that as well as many other people. I do agree it wouldn't impress everyone possibly the younger generation think the majority would be happy about it. The example of a dark ride done right after returning so many years later is at Six Flags Texas "Pirates Of Speelunker Cave" which if you are familiar with was a dark ride starring these creatures called "Speelunkers" and it was removed in the 90s I believe and as of recently it was brought back and was beloved by newer audiences and it had a whole new story, which if the bring back Phantom Theater is that kind of aspect I think its going to do fantastic. I think the main thing that makes or breaks this is it that decide to bring back animatronics.

  19. We bought the Boo Blaster glasses in the early 2010s for the so-called "3D effect" but to me the effect didn't work and honestly had me feeling dizzy.
  20. For $2, thats not too bad thank you Dippin Dots guy!
  21. I haven't eaten here since it was Hanks Burrito Shack... has anybody ate here?
  22. Its funny how a ride over 20 years being removed from an amusement park is still being talked about, just goes to show you how much this ride is loved and missed.
