I get that, but even as testing is going up, the number of cases isn't skyrocketing. We've done well to flatten our curve and even as testing increases, the number of cases is static or decreasing day-over-day.

If it comes down to Kings Island opening only for Ohio residents, or staying closed all year, I hope for the latter. Not sorry. It isn’t fair to those of us outside of Ohio that contribute thousands upon thousands of dollars per year to Cedar Fair. I’m going to be an ass about it.

ONE church in Kentucky, in one tiny town, has continued to hold mass. Our governor then instructed our state police officers to write down their license plates, forward their personal information to those individuals' county health departments and enforce an involuntary 14-day quarantine. Beyond that, there has been no other mass gatherings. We've had a few protests at the state capitol for the governor's press conferences, but even those people (for the most part) maintained social distancing guidelines.

Actually, it's quite the opposite - Kentucky has done better at "flattening the curve" than most other states in the country. We have been staying home. We have closed all non-essential businesses and cancelled all organized crowd gatherings. We also have a 14-day quarantine for all out-of-state travel. I highly doubt Kings Island would open if there's still a 14-day self-quarantine order still in place in Ohio. There's absolutely no way.

Not really sure how Kentucky is in yellow on that map. We have fewer cases per capita than any of the states around us, including Ohio, so the map saying we have to wait longer to relax social distancing guidelines seems absurd. Either way, I'm coming to Kings Island on opening day, social distancing guidelines in Kentucky be darned.

Well that's great, I thought I was being smart by purchasing an all-season fast pass for my wife and I last night, thinking I'd get more than a season out of them. Ugh.

They sure are doing a lot of work on The Vortex site for it to just sit there unused for a few years.

So when do we get the Orion cam back? Surely they’re done with testing by now.

If the park is closed for 2020, I expect my PAID 2020 Gold Pass to be converted to a 2021 Gold Pass. I won't accept anything less and neither should anyone else here.
