I didn't see the Facebook post about the Log Flume last night, I can imagine it would stir up a lot of upset emotions. People are not afraid to show their dislike for something online very much.

Hmmm maybe Worlds of Fun is getting the Mid-thrill ride for 2017 along with the 2 flat's Cedar Fair bought.

Ha that would be a HUGE flat ride if they needed to start a year in advance!

I saw they have a dog show being planned from one of the opening day video's on Kevin Welch's Youtube channel he posted.

What we do know is from their "Capital Investment Strategy" image, 2016 Is for CP and then we have 4 more years for big major thrill rides. And next year also is suppose to be a Mid-size thrill ride and a ride removal. I don't think any other park has started to tease for next year yet, so we are the first. Something to chew on.

Cedar Fair knows what they are doing, they just don't hand out big investments (roller coasters) like candy for nothing, it's for roi. Especially in this economy. If that's what we are getting. Hard to say right now.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Chance family and friends.

Type in "Kings Island Air Show" (should be under the Lost Airport of Lebanon) and "Son of Beast Trackwalkers". They have some amazing pictures I've never seen before. Must have been wild watching the skydivers coming down into International Street!

That's a great picture of one of the teacup's from the ride! Looks like a lot of fun for the kids and even for adults! I wonder where this was at in the park?

Also, have they ever teased for a ride or anything this far out that wasn't a rollercoaster? I like this rumor part, I wasn't around for the Banshee one, and I'd only visit the site once in a blue moon back then.

I don't think it's going to be a coaster, probably another kind of ride.

I'm just wondering, so us coming from the north, we won't really get to see the front of the new entrance sign since we are coming from that way will we? We'll see it but only from the back side, right?

Don't know what they are doing to the sign area. I hope they are moving the flag polls off to the side, so we can get a perfect picture of the fountains and the Eiffel Tower!

I just found this nice video of Kings Island's opening day on April 29th, 1972. From WCPO-9 affiliate ABC in Cincinnati.

I am wondering, is the "Welcome to Kings Island" going to light up too? I think that would be really neat! Does the new toll gates at Carowinds light up? If not it still looks great!

Rumors, rumors rumors! I would like to see a few other things first though before we get a new coaster. I would love to try out a Rotor ride like what we used to have, or a Antique Car ride make it's return.

Yup, hope they get the rezoning okayed soon.
