We're now 24 days away from Winterfest 2026. The park is now putting up the Christmas lights on the Eiffel Tower! I took a screenshot but for some reason the site isn't allowing me to upload it, saying unknown server error, so might be a problem one of the mods can look into.

I've heard that Six Flags Over Georgia does not do the yearly full breakdown and reassemble of rides to check and cleaning them like Kings Island does, it's more labor intensive and costs more, but I'd rather know that a park does that then it doesn't and something like this happen. What a mess...

This is terrible news, my prayers are with the family, guests and workers who were effected. I agree that I can see every state requiring seat belts. Congrats Kings Island and everyone who helped bring this back to life! The park almost took home another Golden Ticket Award with this ride, under the 'Best New Attraction Instillation of 2026' but was beat by Falcon's Flight, so neat!

I like the idea for a new themed area for Action Zone, but would a Halloween theme be it, we have Halloween Haunt already.. Someone said on YouTube that Kings Island/SF could make a deal with Hasbro to bring Dungeons and Dragons, bringing that type of themed area to the park, that would be popular imo.

Just released from Marcus Leshock on his X account, Six Flags has purchased ArieForce One, now on to speculation to where it will go!

Carowinds was one of the ten parks that brought back their park president, but like you guys have said, watch what they do not what they say.

This would be nice to see in real life, it would turn the park into a destination park for sure, costs though would be huge ($75+ million) like what Hawaiian said, if they were to add a resort and made a lot of money with it, they might be tempted to spend the money, but it’s a nice what if concept. They released a neat nighttime video today and working on a Colossal POV video next.

I just saw there a Reddit discussion about RMC posting stories about their new Wild Moose coaster and teasing its now wandering the Midwest now, some people guessing it’s for KK and someone thinking it could be for Kings Island to add to Camp Snoopy or Planet Snoopy. Kentucky Kingdom isn’t really in the Midwest, so would KI go back to add something new for their kids area so soon after 2024’s addition? Went to the park the first time this season yesterday, had a blast, Phantom theater: Opening Night was great and did it twice, first time using the flashlight and the second time just taking it all in, rode Congo Falls the first time in decades and really enjoyed it! The drop and splash were so good, you get soaked, I hope they keep it for a long time. If you haven't rode Congo Falls for a while, go ride it, you won't be disappointed! The nighttime show as fun as well.

Yep, I clicked on a few other rides and no pages are missing. Maybe this is a sign its end is near. 🤔

I know they built The Racer as something ‘new’ for Kings Island, but looking back it would’ve been neat if they moved or built a new Shooting Star coaster as well. They thought about it but decided not to do it.

My top 5 that would be easy to do (I would think) is 1) Bring back the Classic Royal Fountain, 2) Add some pavers around the Eiffel Tower, 3) Bring back the area portal signs for Coney Mall and Oktoberfest, 4) Bring the lampposts back to International Street, 5) for a ride bring the Skyride back.

Zephyr looks like it has its chairs on now, so hopefully within a week or two it’ll be up and running

I've been thinking about what the park could do to add to the light/fireworks show at night. Adding more lights along the Royal Fountain is one way to make it an even greater experience, here in yellow is where they could add more lights.

It would also be nice if they brought back the Coney Mall, Oktoberfest signs, and maybe even add a Rivertown and Action Zone sign as well. The only signs showing you’ve entered a different land is Area 72, Planet Snoopy, Camp Snoopy and Adventure Port. So much the park could do to add to the experience to make it better.

I thought for sure they were filling the Royal Fountain yesterday, but it was hard to be sure, today the reflection of the Eiffel Tower is in the fountain, another sign that Passholder Preview Day & Opening Day is getting closer! 🙂 Edit, it may not be the towers reflection, just its shadow, it's hard to tell. I have screenshots of around this time, and the shadow/reflection isn't in the fountain.

It was on Spectrum News 1 about an hour ago, said it would be ready for opening day, but we’ll see how that goes when the park opens.

I've never heard that, was it around 2021 or so if you're able to say. I can see them doing it now, with them wanting to put more focus on their most profitable parks.
