Anyone have pics today of AP from the Eiffel Tower?

I hope they still add the gazebos to the Mercado deck, this new area will look great if we get everything that was in the details.

Hope so, it’s been quite awhile for something new at Soak City. Something new can go there and add some new bathrooms near Tidal Wave Bay, so guests won’t have to walk as far.

The 1 chaperone per 10 guests seems like a lot of for 1 chaperone to be responsible for, maybe 5 or 6 would more controllable. I would have also put the age to at least 16 and even 17. Hopefully this cuts down on the issues, but if it continues, I expect the age limit to go up.

As much as I didn’t want to say it, I think a chaperone policy is coming, or should, this needs to happen before something worse happens.

I'm not into construction, but maybe why they're just started building the VIP Lounge is because, it's one of the easier things to do, they worked on the harder stuff first.

I think they're doing pretty good at the time they had to get ready, only 3 months and 13 days, that's not a lot of time, taking down Winterfest and especially with how much the park is working on for this year, Adventure Port is going to look really nice when it's done, with the greenery still to be added.

I hope it’s a regular fountain too, Worlds of Fun added a new fountain, looks like this but ours is bigger, and it’s a regular water fountain, so this gives me hope ours is as well.

Can’t wait for the park to be open! Just saw there was some problems at Worlds of Fun yesterday at their opening day, hopefully the park is ready for any unruly visitors, with enough security.

The Flying Eagles and Les Taxis removals is up there, after that you have Kenton Cove Keelboat Canal and Phantom Theater, never got to ride the Skyride, it would be great to see it return somehow, changing the Royal Fountain is probably the biggest mistake I agree.

Is the water effect at the end something they could possibly bring back? Doesn’t look like the track gets wet from the pov they posted.

Hopefully we can see Cedar Fair build KI a hotel like Carowinds in the area next to Soak City, that would be perfect, next to the water park, and you would have nice views of the park during the main season and WinterFest, it would make the park more money as well. Kings Island is open 2 more months now, for WinterFest, so that would help the hotel getting stays.

I wonder how long they’re going to wait till they announce the new ride, and what is being taken out. The sooner the better!

Yes, I could see them building a hotel here too, this is a great location, and like you said what they did at Carowinds. Maybe in a few years we can see Cedar Fair look into it, since the one at Canadas Wonderland fell through.

There is some room to build a KI resort with all the empty land by Soak City, but I wonder how much of it is owned by Cedar Fair?

Here is another idea. There has been some talk about KI demolishing the old SOB station this coming off season. Kings Island could retire The Bat next not Invertigo, if they do that, it could make room for the new roller coaster's station to be built there, KI could put their next coaster here after the replacement for Vortex is added. The Bat is a long walk for guests, and a new coaster here, would mean less of a walk for guests, and it would be next to Banshee, it would look great.

Just ordered my book, says it will be here by the 17th. Can't wait to go through it!

I voted for Backlot Stunt Coaster, but it would be nice to see Adventure Express run for WinterFest too. I could go with either one.

That might work, I think they have to put some Christmas lights along the trail, for something for people to enjoy along the way, so it's just not a carriage ride in the dark woods.

Enjoying the pictures and reviews, I hope they bring the carriage rides back for next year's WinterFest. I was planning to do that this year but looks to be cut.

Good news! KI really takes care of their wood coasters! I wonder if they're going to do some more work on The Beast.

Here is a new update for Coney Mall in an expansion for 2027/2028 that I created, pieced together some good ideas from this site. 1. In lime a new Skyride. 2. In light blue, SR&R is moved down farther closer to WindSeeker. 3. In green a Ferris Wheel/another flat ride is added here or a stand to sell things, since the stand is gone at the entrance at Coney Mall it could be moved here. 4. The white part is where the path will be extended. 5. In orange, a new restaurant, Coney Cafe is put here where KillMart is now. Seating outside behind it to watch The Racer and Orion would be nice, and seating inside. 6. In yellow is where the new KillMart building will go.

I don't think Woodstock Gliders, The Racer's lift or Diamondback would be in the way, but maybe I'm wrong. Looking at CGA's Skyride path, Patriot is very close to it along with some tree's it goes over, and it's not a problem for the Skyride they have.

I think they will continue to keep adding things to the park in 2024, 2025 to keep the momentum up, since 2021 and 2022 we saw no rides being added. All of Cedar Fair's top 5 parks are getting something next year, and they will want to keep pushing to get the parks attendances back up to 2019, and last month already was above 2019 levels, and to keep making new records for the company.
