Happy Orion Monday everyone! Here's a few beautiful pics of Orion with the sun poking through the clouds! Had to share!

Looks like they're working on the handrailing on the stairs. The station roof also seems to be done now!

I think this piece is new. It's kind of hard to see, since the sun is at a weird angle.

Yup, and it looks like they added a piece of the 2nd hill sometime early in the morning. We might see the 2nd hill done in time for Winterfest opening day.

Yeah, just the station area, break run last hill, and the first part of first hill takes up all of Firehawk's spot, and we aren't even halfway done!

That new piece that was added today, looks like the one that goes over the ravine.

They must have just got the cam back on in the last 20 or so minutes, I checked it around 9. This looks awesome! Hello Orion!

I hope we get to see the 2nd hill done while WinterFest is going on! This is going to look awesome!

I just saw it too on WeatherBug cam! So exciting!

I agree the main webcams being down is a bummer, because they're the closest to Orion's construction. But we still have a webcam up showing Orion's progress, the most important part as well! Be happy for that! Yes it's farther away, but we can tell what's going on, good enough, when something big happens, there is usually someone there pretty quick to snap some pictures for us. We just have to adjust to this way of doing it for awhile, then the cams will be back. It's not that bad.

Looks like they're right on time for when they said it would be topped off! Really exciting!

Are you there right now or just watching the WeatherBug cam? I would guess at the speed they're going, the lucky day might be Friday, to be topped off, if the rain isn't to much of a problem. I hope the next support piece is put up today also!

I was looking at places to go eat, found the Snow Day Buffet, it doesn't say where its at though. Has anyone here had it before, and where its located? Thanks

I'll miss it, for sure. I remember my first ride on it, I couldn't believe how many loops it had!! I kept thinking 'okay that's the last loop, nope another, then another'. This has been a roller coaster ride of a year! RIP Vortex, say hi to Firehawk, SoB, etc.

I saw people talking on the Kings Island Seasonal Pass Holder Facebook page, about how busy it was last night, and someone said it was a record at 62,000! Was anyone there last night?

Could Six Flags get a loan or something to help push another offer up, if they really wanted too (I hope not)? Would any bank be willing to give them, that much money? I like how Cedar Fair is run a lot better then Six Flags, and how SF does ride announcements just seems cheap to me, announcing everything all together in a video online..... Screams cheap!
