*KI_Karackter*
I know this may be a long time from happening, but I can't help but let my mind wander. So I'm asking everyone else to let yours do the same. When Cedar Fair finally does decide to change, or retheme Tomb Raider, what will they do? Will the knock the building down? Will they keep the Egyptian-tomb theme? What will they do? Personally, I would enjoy seeing the whole thing blown up, and a new ride put in its place. But we all know that won't happen. I wouldn't mind seeing the building go, and have it be an outdoor ride like the one in Texas, maybe possibly over some water.
teenageninja
Honestly, I think it's going down completely here in the next couple years, the ride has underachieved in performance and capacity. Not to mention that it's really a one time experience for a park whose main audience is people within the area (for the most part). I give it the rest of this year, MAYBE next year then I say it's gone.
The Interpreter
If it does go, look for it to be moved to another Cedar Fair park, sans building. Voila! New ride!
FOFirehawkFAN
Honestly the most innovative and coolest looking top spin I have ever seen is Rip Tide at Knotts Berry Farm, if anyone is familiar with this you may or may not agree with me. The ride has numerous geysers that will shoot up and hit the riders in the face usually while upside down and swinging in from behind so they dont see it. When I visited Knotts earlier this summer there were more people just WATCHING this ride than there were in any line in the park! So if they replaced tomb raider with a ride like this and theme it to go along with the rivertown theme. They could make it outdoors but still keep it hidden with like a manmade forest area surrounding it maybe?
The Interpreter
Hmmm. Dorney Park's CAN do that (have the geysers shoot the riding guests). But it almost never, ever does any more.
FOFirehawkFAN
And honestly I saw more people watching this ride, than any of the shows in the park at the time, so if KI is looking for new ways to entertain guests they should think of something like this. They could tear down the walls now and say it's their sixth show for the year.

CoastersRZ
I wouldn`t go that far. The ice skating show is pretty good! Also, even though the theming isn`t great, it still has one thing working for it. It is in air conditioning. Granted, the ride would have had a lot of visual appeal, much like Delirium, had it not been enclosed. I just don`t see them rushing to spend money to tear down a building on a ride that still seems to draw a good sized line most days.

Agreed but if and when they decide to remove the Tomb Raider themeing what would be cheaper re-theming an indoor ride, or just tearing down the building?
