cholderfield Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Just checked the forecast and the predicted temperature has went up since I last checked (last week sometime).... (from accuweather.com, updated 8/2/07) High: 93°F RealFeel®: 98°F Partly sunny and hot http://www.accuweather.com/forecast-15day....40&metric=0 Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 It is still a few days out and the weather specially around the summer time can change very quickly. Quote
deb Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Our weather here is generally the same as KIs... with the exception of rainy days, and we've got high 90s until the end of the earth... Suncreen and shorts are in order, I think. And a cool dinner and ice show. We'll still be sweating bullets at 10ish for our Beast ride! deb Quote
cholderfield Posted August 2, 2007 Author Posted August 2, 2007 no doubt we'll be nearing the mid-90s...this heating up trend doesn't seem to be something that will end very quickly...especially for the next week or two.... Quote
CoastersRZ Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Nah, it won`t be that bad. Of course, I am some what used to working at Coney in 90 degree heat, when you can`t go seek shelter in air conditioning. Speaking of which, I`ll be down at Coney the day after the KIC event. The one thing about hot weather at Coney, is that more people will tend to stay over on the pool side versus the dry ride side. Quote
Captain Nemo Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 I for one am not worried at all about how hot it will be. In my case the high 90's is nothing since I just came back from Israel. Try thinking hiking down Masada in 106 Degrees. I am so happy to hear that this event will be even better since it will be a nice day. Quote
CoastersRZ Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Glad your back safe and sound! Was that 105 degrees a humid 105 degrees or a dry 105? I know that the humidity is supposed to go up drastically the next few days, which makes the high temperatures even more intolerable. Quote
derek9312 Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Looked at all 4 news websites for weather and weather.com and all forcasting a high of 92-93 degrees with a 20-30% chance of a popup shower or thunderstorm. Very humid!!! Quote
Delirium33 Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Something tells me that the exclusive seating/Meet&Greet at the Ice Show is going to be a bigger hit than expected! I wasn't planning on doing that particular event, but its sounding more and more like a good idea. That theater felt like it was a perfect 60 degrees the last time I saw the show. Quote
PKIVortex Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 I'm definitely going to take part in viewing of the show, if I stick around for the meet and greet I don't know. Quote
cholderfield Posted August 3, 2007 Author Posted August 3, 2007 update High: 95°F RealFeel®: 100°F Partly sunny and hot that ice show is looking better and better Quote
