drewbari
I'm Andrew. I like HB. I would like to see all HB characters back, but I think Flintstones and Yogi is a good start. The HB characters help made PKI what it is today, that is why I think PKI should bring them back.

King Bowser
I wish they would just bring back yogi and flintstones I think it was a bad move to get rid of those characters .
RevengeofTheSmurfs
While I have to admit I love yogi always have I think this movie will be a great summer movie its really cool news if done cgi yogi and booboo will look totally cool I always wanted to see them as cgi characters. As for PKI bringing the HB characters back Iam all for it I mean PKI should really understand what there guests want it may be paramount park but that shouldnt stop them from giving their guests what they want. Scooby_Doo
I have been a Hanna-Barbera fan for as long as I can remember (I'm only 21!) Iam upset at PKI for taking away those classic HB characters kids know who yogi and fred are (They have been on Cartoon Network's Friday nightline up w/Johnny Bravo & Saturday morning lineup)I mean why not have Nicktoons in there Meet&Greet area and have Yogi Bear boo-boo and the Flintstones roam HBL with scooby-Doo I mean PKI does say theres something for everyone at their park I find that bogus!! if there was something for everyone .Everyone would be happy and there would be no need for this petiton RevengeoftheSmurfs is right PKI should give what there guests want some parents I have talked to want those characters back so they can introduce them to there kids.I would always go to PKI once a week during the summer with at least 300 bucks on me but I will admit I have stopped going to PKI I don't go nearly as much .Now I only go 4 times during the summer because one of the highlights of my trip(s) was getting my Picture with Yogi or Boo-boo and a high five from Fred or Barney PKI took that away from me.I have heard so many things why HBL characters aren't in the park one of the them is kids don't know who they are which I refuse to believe because the flintstones are almost as popular as scooby doo.I think PKI made a Bad move and they need to correct it .Ghost thanks for this petition we can let PKI know how we feel. Smurfs Enchanted Voyage
:offtopic: I was very happy when I learned that a Yogi Bear live-action movie is in the works I have been a Yogi fan all my life but I found out recently that the Yogi Bear Movie will come out before the Jetsons Movie!!so thta means 2006 or 2007 groovy! Okay I miss yogi bear he was my favorite Character at Kings Island I will say this I dont visit Hanna-Barbera land and if PKI brought yogi back I would be so happy I would visit the park more often besides the only cool cartoons out these days are rugrats & spongebob and I cannot forget about whats new scooby doo and my FAV The NEW yogi bear show done by Ren&Stimpy creator very funny stuff. King Bowser
or only salvaged to do the occasional picnic grove and outside appearence. So Yogi Bear only walks around the picnic grove? That doesn't make no sense thats like wiping before you poop why don't they let yogi walk around HBL so all kids and teens,Parents can enjoy him?Doesnt PKI care about there guests wants or wanting to make new memories in there park? Vortex
Kings Island at one time was going to be a park theme just to Hanna-Barbara park. I bet PKI did the poll with teens and not kids and parents. Okay so you got Nick toons that are already out dated. The Rugarts are now Teens ,and the only new shows on Nick Toons that they are still making are spongebob and Jimmy Neutron. As someone said before you will see a Hanna-Barbara returning with Yogi Bear movie and on other cartoons such as Johnny Bravo and Power Puff girls. :cowboy:
King Bowser
Yeah I think PKI said that kids dont know who they are just to get rid of them for Nicktoon characters hey its paramount ...whats funny about that according to TVPoints Cartoon Network has higher ratings than Nick... while on vacation at Six Flags Great America i visited Camp CartoonNetwork kids where running to The Flintstones meet&Greet and there was long line at Yogi Bear/Booboos meet&greet the line was full of parents and kids. And I dont wanna leave out The Jetsons meet&Greet I have never seen so many kids want to hug astro in all my life. And course the most popluar character of all in that area was Scooby Doo he has a ride call Scooby Doo's mystery machine of course kids were all lined up and ready for a hug from scooby himself I have to admit that character costum was a bit more in cooler looking than PKI's Scooby doo. that just proves my point Kids know who they are Paramount justs wants to be a Paramount park with nick characters (yeeek!)while I hardly watch nick if Iam watching Nick its cause of Spongebob. We maynever see HB-Characters in PKI again we can always watch the new cartoons coming out or Movies based on those characters,or go to Six Flags they have all the HB merch you could ever want...Iam just stating the fact that HB is popluar among kids well I will leave it at that. Shman
Boo-Hoo.....I think you really need to get over this thing. The HB characters are not going to walk in the park again, and your "petition" can't change that fact. PKI does not have the complete call on what characters are used in the park, it all comes down to who pays the money and the bills. Nickelodeon pays to have their characters used in the park and to have them as a highlight of the area. The park does not get any money for the HB costumes, unless a company pays to have them walk at their picnic or corporate event. That is the bottom line. King Bowser
So very true!!!!!! as a matter of fact I walked into my local Wal-Mart today and went into the hotwheels part of the toys section to get my nephew a birthday gift and what I found I couldn't believe my eyes what I had found it was a Hanna-Barbera MatchBox cars 5 pack it has Huckleberry hound and The Flintstones and Yogi bear,Tom&Jerry,The Jetsons themed matchbox cars really cool looking cars to. Then I went to mens to get me some back to college stuff and I found me Yogi bear shirt,Magilla Gorilla and a Flintstones shirt so the characters must be popular among people and kids to have a shirt line and matchbox toy line.Yeah Shman doesn't know what it feels like to love something then have it ripped away from you but I think HB characters will be back when PKI realizes how popular those characters are. Vortex
The thing that have to understand is, that the Hanna-Barbara are owned by Warner Brothers now. Viacom, the parent company of Paramont has no ownership in them. Viacom owns all of the Nicktoons, so it would make sense to use the characters that you own. It not that I don't like the Hanna-Barbera characters, I love them but you got to face the facts. Any way most of the H-B characters on Cartoon Network are Dexter, Johny Bravo, and the Powerpuff Girls not Yogi, Fred, & Huckberry. These characters are on Boomrang. Which less people get. A majority of Cartoon Network's rating come from Justice League Unlimited, Dragon Ball Z, Kids Next Door, Adult Swim, Teen Titians, and other popular new shows. As a final word, I think that the H-B theme park future lays in the crazy world of Six Flags. Kings Island and Paramount will proably covert the existing H-B Land areas into a larger Nick Central. Here is a H-B site, if your interested http://www.hbshows.com/
King Bowser
Just one thing if you notice Fred,Barney,Yogi,Boo-boo etc... make surprise appearences on those new CN shows also Yogi has his NEW show called the New Yogi bear show its done by Ren&Stimpy creator John K. he also has done a few episodes of The NEW adventures of the Jetsons here ya go The New Jetsons ...also Cartoon Network Hits gets a lotta kids as well as young adults because of DragonBallz and other favorites lets face it the only show nick has that appeals to adults is Spongebob...Yogi along the Flintstones are on CN on Saturday mornings as a matter of fact I watched Yogi bear last saturday morning. But I agree with you Six Flags is a wonderful park and I will go there during the summer if I have to ..yup most SF's do have Hanna-Barbera Worlds but some have Campcartoon networks I agree nick is the main blood in PKI now but it saddends me that HB is no longer around the park they helped that park become what it is today I know that Scooby is the next to go since HBL will be a NickCentral area. Vortex
Ugh. John.K (Ren & Stimpy) only produced two Yogi Bear shorts. There not going to be new show. Sorry. John just did those cartoons for a special for Cartoon Network. He is currently working on the new Ren & Stimpy episodes for Spike TV at his studio, Spumco. If it make you feel better, Huckberry Hound showed up on Johnny Bravo this past Friday. P.S. Warner Brothers is going to release the Flintstones Season 2, Top Cat: The complete series, and the Man Called Flintstone on DVD this fall. http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=2149

RevengeofTheSmurfs
Giggling Green Ghost, I tip my hat to you all your efforts to get something you love back don't let the haters get you discouraged. Wow okay not many people know the truth about the now-canned NEW yogi bear show okay let me tell you all what really went down. Cartoon Network and WB were going&wanting to bring out a new Yogi cartoon show for their Cartoon Cartoon Fridays lineup & for their sister channel Kids WB after seeing Yogi was a popular character still thanks to re-runs of The Yogi Bear Show on Boomerang(his show was ranked #3 The Flinstones where in second and the always popular Scooby Doo was is first sadly the jetsons where number 4).Cartoon Network&WB's were Impressed by John K's amimation style after viewing possible Amimators to do the new cartoon they went with John k and his Company so Cartoon Network Execs and WB Execs were in intesne meetings with Spumco to get Yogi Bear back on TV in a Brand new Cartoon they reached a deal but SPIKETV made Spumco a better deal with more $$$ on the line offer to John K. to bring back Ren&Stimpy as an Adult cartoon for their Adult cartoon line up since John K. likes to draw where there is no censorship he and his company went with SpikeTV's deal and his company canned the rest of the new yogi bear cartoon orders for Cartoon Network .Now Spumco did do about 12 episodes or so of the new yogi cartoon for Cartoon Network. Cartoon network aired it as a prime time deal and the ratings went crazy so they aired the rest and of the Yogi Bear half-hour cartoons since his version of yogi was so popular cartoon network & WB asked him to make some Jetsons shorts and he and his company did there are only 5 jetsons shorts they are aired during a show called ToonExtra back in November of last year on cartoon network with that said since John K. is almost done with new orders of Ren&Stimpy for SpikeTv Iam sure Yogi Bear will be back one TV one way or another with the new Yogi Bear movie hitting Theaters very soon expect more Yogi craziness to appear. Now that leaves me to The Flintstones since one of Cartoon Networks two Popular shows were Dexters Lab & PowerPuff Girls CartoonNetwork made the creator of PowerPuff Girls and Dexters lab make a new Flintstones Movie for tv they did and was shown as a Friday prime time movie the movie its self was called The Flintstones on the rocks where Fred & Wilma were having marriage problems so they go to Rock vegas with Barney & Betty for a vacation to cool off and relax and see a marriage consoler the movie did well but not well enough amoung young kids. Hanna-Barbera worlds are only at Six Flag parks over seas there are non in America yet just CampCARTOON networks.I understand peoples reaction to why PKI's excuse for taking away HB characters was so ''Lame'' kids do know who they are thanks to many parents and Boomerang and classic HB DVDs.You can bet you will see New cartoons and movies based on those characters soon. King Bowser
So very right and thank you for the comment I'll tell ya what the haters aint nothing but tofu fartin fairies and treehuggers they aint got no respect! But they have to realize HB isnt dead its alive and kicking also I want to point out The Flintstones is one of HB's flagship properties with as big a history behind it as Scooby Doo, Yogi Bear, The Jetsons now PKI might have gave them up but Warner Bros is bringing them back and putting them into the mainstream with daily walk-arounds at there Six Flags parks,New merch.Yes you are correct I was mad at PKI because they said HB isnt popular among kids anymore when I know and everyone else knows they are. I know some kids that live near me that perfer The Flintstones over Spongebob! thats all I gotta say thank goodness for Six Flags. *-Note-* can someone please tell me why is Scooby Doo in the park and the rest of the popular HB characters arent? If PKI doesnt get paid for HB Characters anymore then why is scooby walking around the park it just doesnt make sense. KIBeast
Not to bust on you Green Ghost, but I can barely read your posts. Some puctuation would be nice. If you plan on sending a petition to Paramount, I would advise using punctuation if you expect them to take you seriously. I hate to see the HB characters go, but Nick is in. HB is out. Not to say that all kids love Nick characters and none love HB characters, but until these movies become reality, you probably won't see them return. Scooby_Doo
You prolly wont seen them in a paramount park but yup HB is all over certain Six Flags parks and WB movie Worlds.Yeah Nick is in Paramount parks but you have to understand PKIBeast Yogi Bear:The Movie wont be released until Summer 2006 with the Jetsons coming out in sometime in 2007 so even if some kids dont know who they are they soon will plus I have no idea why they wouldnt know who they are because of all the Hanna-Barbera Collection Gear& toys in stores now.
