deerhunter
I went to the park on several occasions in 2007 to pick up these VIP jackets and were told they didn't have them. From what I am reading now..you can get them on opening day. Since then I have misplaced the vouchers or threw them away accidently..thanks Cedar Fair... BoddaH1994
They warned you over and over again to keep the vouchers in a safe place so that they could be redeemed in the Spring of 08. I'm not sure how Cedar Fair is responsible for you misplacing your voucher.
Avatar
Sorry to hear your demise deerhunter. I would like to ask those who may know here, Do I turn in my voucher at the ticket window or guests services or?
Kman6
I processed my pass last Wednesday ( less than 5 mins) and was told to walk to the other ticket windows outside where I picked up my pull-over and was on my way. The guy processing my pass handed my voucher back to me but my daughter wasn`t given hers back but still got her pull-over when I got mine. My guess is that they have a computerized list of which passes were purchased and when, alllowing them to know who is entitled to the pull-overs. They aren`t bad but I`d never pay the $39.99 they advertise the retail value of them.

Can you believe that suck-a$$ company for making you lose your free voucher? And on a lighter note.... deerhunter and the rest of the members at Theme Park Review also blame global warming, potholes, and acne on Cedar Fair as well. darn that company sucks! You know what I hate about Cedar Fair? The cleaner park, the better season pass offerings, the six live shows, and Firehawk. Bring back Paramount! KI-ORIG-EMP
Just show your season pass and they will scan that to see if you get a pass. It will validate it to see if it was purchased prior to the end of last season. Mike
italianchef
They are not jackets, more like sweatshirts with vinyl material.

Actually what I am ticked off about the most..is we were told on TWO different occasions to be there on a certain day at a certain time to pick the things up...we drove all the way from Chillicothe twice..and nobody knew where the jackets were. Well considering that they told you to hold on to your vouchers, which you didn't, it is quite possible that you did not follow the specific dates and times for the jacket pick-up. And even if they DID tell you on two different occasions as to when to pick-up the jackets, why would you not call ahead on the second go-around so you did not make a needless trip a second time? BoddaH1994
I just don't see why he didn't take his voucher and put it in a locked box in a safe in a Swiss bank like the rest of us.
cholderfield
i misplaced mine too although i'm not too worried about it, as it was my fault and it wasn't a big deal in the first place...i'll probably find it in a month or two... (i put it SOMEWHERE so i wouldn't lose it, but i forget where SOMEWHERE is!)

The Interpreter
I gave my voucher the requisite care in proportion to the perceived value of the booty it represents. -Nuff said.

deerhunter
Just got off phone with KI..if you have lost or misplaced your vouchers..if you call tell them your name and address...they will pull up your account and give you the ID# off of your vouchers and this will be all you need to get your "jackets". Of course anyting with Cedar Fair is subject to change when you show up.

Kings Island=good time
I went to pick up my 2 jacket after work one day and had my vouchers with me. Went to the group sales booth where I was directed to pickup the jackets and gave them my vouchers. I was then told that they needed both season passes to get the jackets and not the voucher (which they put in the trash). My heart sank a bit because my wife is usually the keeper of the passes and I did not make sure I had them. Luckily, I still had them in my wallet and had not yet given them to my wife. They scanned my passes then gave me my two jackets. You should not have a problem getting them as long as you bring your season pass.
