Vortexlover2 Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 I was just wondering... I didn't make this a poll because I don't know all the defunct rides... What defunct ride would you like to see back at pki? I want all of them, but What do you want? Quote
King Bowser Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Not to be rude but there is a topic just like this somewhere on the board. Quote
Alien Seed Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Smurf's Enchanted Voyage, Flight Commander, Bat (with modifications so that it works right), and the name Outer Limits back on top of Flight of Fear. Quote
italianchef Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 PHANTOM THEATER! Have a great off season! Italian Chef :chef: Quote
KIBeast Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 (edited) Defunct rides I can think of: 1) Bavarian Beetle 2) Rotor 3) Bayern Curve 4) Zodiac 5) The Bat 6) The Screamin' Demon 7) Flight Commander 8) Der Spinnin' Keggers 9) Tumblebug 10) Winnie Witches Wheel 11) Phantom Theatre 12) King Kobra 13) Enchanted Voyage (Smurfs or Otherwise) 14) Kenton Cove Keelboat Canal 15) Flying Eagles I can't think of any more, so someone else take over. The one I would really like to see return is The Bat - with banked curves of course. Or, I wouldn't mind seeing The Bat trains on Top Gun even though it won't happen. Edit*** I forgot 16)Sklyline Ride Edited November 11, 2004 by PKIBeast Quote
PKI_Diana Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Scrappy's slide, or whatever it was called, you went down in potato sacks! Oh, and skylab. Quote
Pirate of PKI Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 - Phantom Theater - King Kobra - Scrappy's Slide - The Bat - James Bond back in Action Theater Man these used to be my favorites... :censored: Quote
drewbari Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Phantom Theater, Flying Eagles, Kenton Cove’s Keelboat Canal, King Cobra, and Antique Cars. Quote
CoastersRZ Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 Don`t forget about the Sunshine Turnpike, which was removed after the 1993 season I believe. The same season that McScrappy`s slide left if I remember correctly. Quote

TheRickster Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 Alot of those rides arent defunct they are sbno somewhere or they are in the process of being moved to another park or are running at another park :-p Quote
CoastersRZ Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 Of the rides that have been removed from PKI, very few are operating at other parks. Screamin Deamon had been operating at Camden Park until around 1999 then it was SBNO, until it was dismanteled a couple of weeks ago. The Flying Dutchman which was removed in 1990 was sent down to Kentucky Kingdom where it still operates. Obviously the Flying Eagles will operate at Carowinds. I believe that the Zodiac was operating somewhere in Australia (Dreamworld maybe). King Cobra would be at another park, if any other park wanted to buy it from the park, if it hasn`t degraded to the point where it isn`t structurally feasible. I can`t think of any other PKI rides that are operating at other locations. Quote
King Bowser Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 I honestly didnt like Phantom Theater it wasnt that great PKI needs a good Dark ride like the Addams Family Mansion. Quote
Reality15 Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Speaking of King Cobra, where exactly are the parts being stored. I head "in the trees" in another thread, but where "in the trees" are they? Quote
TheKlockster Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 When you are riding SOB, and you do the mid course break run, look to your right and down. Thats where they are. Everybody told me to look to the right just before the loop, but its really during the break run. Quote
drewbari Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Bayern Curve and Zodiac were at Wonderland Sydney, but that park has closed. Wheel of Fortune is at DelGrossos. Quote
infogirl Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 The King Cobra is a big pile of rust behind the Son of Beast Quote
TowerGuy Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 The Jaber Jaw's Tubs are not defunct, they have just been re-themed to Boo-Boo's Baggage Claim. As far as the rides I would want back: Smurf's Enchanted Voyage and KCKC Quote
