I am a true lover for themed rides and attractions, so that would make Universal heaven on earth for me.

Cedar Fair has by far the best collection of rides, variety and thrills. Especially Cedar Point, Dorney Park, and Knot's Berry Farm.

Busch parks are so clean. Theming is great and lets not forget about the landscaping. I was at Williamsburg this past Labor day and we had a blast even in the rain.

Paramount Parks and here is why.

First of Six Flags has some great rides however Six Flags is 2 billion dollars in debt.

Cedar Fair really only has one competiting theme park and that park doesn't have very many family or childern rides.

Universal is borning to me.

Disney just sucks.

Paramount is not in debt and has many different types of rides for all ages.

Busch Gardens rules! Ive been to Tampa several times. I like Paramount better, but Busch is my close second! ;)

First off, Euro Disney should not be a choice because it is part of the Disney franchise.

That said, my favorite chain of theme parks in Disney. I've visited its parks in California, Florida and Japan. You can't beat Disney for technology, theming and service. Some of Disney's most popular rides seem to have influenced some of PKI's best rides:

Haunted Mansion - like our now defunct Phantom Theater

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - like our Adventure Express

Space Mountain - like our FoF (but not as good)

And the list goes on.

Have a great off season!

Yeah, I have to agree with Italianchef. Disney just blew me away when I went down to Orlando in June. The amount of theming and attention to detail in those parks is amazing. Also the service is wonderful there. All the cast members seem to care and value the customers. Now, before visiting Disney I would have said Paramount. But after visiting Disney, there is no way I would choose Paramount, even though Paramount`s Kings Island is still my favorite park. While PKI has many thrill rides, Disney just has fun, immersive rides with incredible special effects and atmosphere.

I was not impressed at all with Disney. When I went down to Dosney World a couple of years ago, the parks were packed. You could not even walk in a straight line. The walkways were just so narrow for the amount of people that were in the park. Especially at Magic Kingdom.

Paramount Parks has the best overall package of rides. I will have to put Universal next. As for Six Flags, I go for the entire park package. When you walk into a park and see absolutely NO theming, I feel like Im at a carnival.

Yeah, I can see how on a busy day, the Magic Kingdom`s midways would be packed. I was just impressed with the overall atmosphere in the Disney parks. I agree though, that Paramount Parks offers a full collection of rides, lots for the little kids and lots of major thrill rides.
