BoddaH1994
The Mystery Construction continues at Swan Lake and in addition to the photos supplied from Nemo, high in the sky, we have added photos of track from the ground as well what seems to be fencing for the ride structure itself. http://www.KICentral.com/photos/thumbnails...astup&cat=

Monroe
This looks like fencing for live stock......Mustang any one? (An old man can dream can't he?)
The Interpreter
When I think livestock, I don't normally think of horses, but rather of cows, pigs, sheep and goats. Somehow, I don't see them naming the coaster after any of those. Heifer: The Ride!

Somehow, I don't see them naming the coaster after any of those. Heifer: The Ride! Actually, horses are considered to be livestock as they often provide farm labor. It's kinda unusual but chickens, ducks and turkey's are not normally considered to be livestock. (That reason I do not know why.) ..... WooferBear - the Good Country Bear That He is. RailRider
Thank you for the livestock breakdown. I agree that does look like livestock fencing and since chickens are not considred livestock, I guess this means we wont be riding Thunder Chicken : The Ride

deb
Judging by progress, what are they chances this thing will be FINISHED for HH? Talk about a crowd inducer opening then. And with the snake eyes..... deb
Colonel_SoB_fan
Absolutely no way it will be ready by HH. It going to be to big to complete. I would be happy with the first opertaion day of next season
teenageninja
I would be surprised if they even have the layout finished by HH. I would imagine they may have the sections of the ride behind The Crypt finished, but the track that goes over the path will more than likely not be done I would imagine. RailRider
Im sure this is what you meant, but just clarifying. The design layout is complete, afterall we aren't designing on the spot. Footer here, Footer there, Here a Footer There a Footer, a Footer Everywhere. The engineering design is done. What I think you were implying is that they may not have all the footings poured yet. I would agree, there may be a few footings left to pour, but the majority should be done by HH and Vertical construction well underway. I would say the lift hill and first drop will be some of the last work since it goes over RiverTown and they will more than likely be working on the path. The Train will be very popular during HH... Jasper
There is absolutely no way it will be finished before HH. Honestly i would be surprised to even see any track up before then. I would assume they would do the construction over the midway when the park is closed. What is up with the clearing behind SOB's rose bowl? Behemoth's lift finished in mid October if i remember correctly.

This has been asked many times and the consensus is that it is fill dirt for the new coaster construction.
RailRider
I dont see any reasson that the majority of Vertical Construction shouldn't be done by HH, the only major part left will be the lift hill and sections that cross the midway. Those will be completed during the off seasson since it will be easier to work in midways then. I would imagine that 60% to 75% of vertical construction could be complete by the end of HH. beastfan11
Who says that they won't work on the lift hill durring the mounth KI is closed before The Haunt?
RailRider
Because more than likely the midway will need to either be completely replaced or repaired once the lift is installed, with all the construction trafic going over it. So I wouldn't expect them to close Rivertown for HH because that Midway will be all new next year.
beastfan11
It'd be nice if they could somehow get the lift up before HH. That would stir up some serious excitement.

The Interpreter
Who says that they won't work on the lift hill durring the mounth KI is closed before The Haunt? Uh...the park ISN'T closed during the month before Halloween Haunt. It is open from time to time for private events, and a lot more days than most people think. JAHill
Private events like Toyota Day, the only day I visit KI during the year. I wouldn't expect construction to stop nonetheless while the events take place.
