Because they haven't put one up today.

FOFreak, who also has a song stuck in his head!

Well why would you overload with track pieces, when you can put one up and then get another?

Because they are skilled ironworkers and know how to put together rides like Diamondback. They might be doing prep work on all the track pieces to complete the lift (ie putting in the stairs and the chain link netting), so that when they put the big lift support up, they don`t have to worry about bracing it for long times when they prep the track, like they`ve done with the current lift support that is tied off to other areas.

They know how to put the ride together, and in what order they need to do it in to hopefully, complete the ride on time.

What song is stuck in your head, Jackson?

I leave all coaster errection questions to the fine folks at Adena.

So I checked the Blog and it said the latest update and it was still "Construction Continues on Diamondback", but it said it was updated October 20 instead of when that update was written on the 17th!

Check it out Here.

Apparently it is a typo, because it has nothing new compared to what it had on the 17th.

I would say closer to 180'.

Averaging out your two answers it is 152.5 feet.

It was hard to tell, but it looked like it was somewhere around whatever Vortex's height is.

the tallest support still has to be completed, the tallest one right now is number 3 according to the renderings. support number 5 will be the one over the midway where the plant is on top.

On the second picture, #3 should be #4.

Hey, Jasper can do math!

no, if you look at number 3 in this rendering and other renderings it has a bend near the top, the tallest support is the only only one with a bend at the top (bend or overlap). number 5 will be where the planters are in front of the building, then behind the building is number 4 that is still in construction, then number 3 which is already up.

No, #4 on the right has a bend also. Look at Beast1979's most recent PTR.

Here, I posted this yesterday.

Get the point!

You know what! You might have point!

Something just doesn't add up?!?

I know I am missing supports in the ravine but I cant figure which one in which in the pic.

That little bend in the support is supposed to be there. That little "bent" portion is plum (true vertical) as opposed to the rest of the left half of that support which is angled. The support becomes purely vertical to align with the center line of the lift track.

^^Hey Nemo, can you try to post some of those photos now and again to show progress between days?

I love those kind of pictures!
