Probably a service stairway for employees only. To walk over to the transfer track and stuff.

I believe it is a staircase for maintenance so they can have access underneath the station.

Got the text message at baseball today and came home to look at the trains and i must say, they look really good and sleek. They also look very comfortable, i mean come on most B&M trains are. Cannot wait to see the pull through begin.
