Jaredap88 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 are there any other free image hosting sites besides photobucked, because i can't get my pictures to upload on there? flickr lets u upload so many free images a month....i use that its a real nice site
coaster_junky Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 how many is it, because i have like 80 to upload
Jaredap88 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 its not so much the ammount of pictures as it is the total file size of all the pics....and the limit is 100MB
vortexfan Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I really love this picture. The 4 hills in the background look like they're stacked on top of each other.
Guest KINGSISLANDMASTER Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I have question, will they be putting a lot of trees back behind the crypt like in the renderings and will there be alot of trees by the station, and will the pathway thats along the Backlot and oppisite of the station entrance be opened again this year.(the pathway that was closed this past season Where cornstalkers usually is)
AgentSoB Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Here is a photo of the teeth as well as a few others that I snapped today... The teeth and water dummies in all their glory Sooo much track in soooo many places Another shot of the train with water dummies
crazypkikid2005 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Looking great. Can't wait to see it up close myself in the next month or so.
indianapolisman Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I take it these are the water scoops?
coaster_junky Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 no those are just the finders covering the wheels
iChase Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I know I'm excited. But I feel bad for iChase because they got there late because of a snow storm and they aren't allowed in the park because security doesn't know where the tour is..... Well Find Out!!!! Thanks for your sympathy. It kind of sucked, but we made a good day out of it. We went to Jungle Jim's and ended up meeting the KIC group there. What are the odds!?

That truly was nice to see you there. In case I neglected to introduce myself, I was wearing the Ohio State hooded sweatshirt. Too bad you missed the tour, though.
Jaredap88 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 so far ive seen some awesome pictures from yesterday. good job to all the photographers!!
flightoffear1996 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I think everyone on the tour from yesterday should get together and make a slide show so it would be easier to look at all the pictures.
Jaredap88 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 that would be easy enough...e mail all the pictures to one person and have them put something together..that would be awesome...i could do it if anyone wanted
KIFAN! Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 ^^^ I was ganna ask the same thing. I really want some more pics of those trains!!! Edit: Sorry Ignore that post. My mind doesnt work quite right in the morning
coasterguy15 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 New blog update. Don talked about how testing should start in a matter of days. Also about how Allan H. has multiple bids.
Beast1979 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I'll believe it when I see it. Don said at the Blues Party that the trains would be put on that week, and it took 2 weeks.
coasterguy15 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I'll believe it when I see it. Don said at the Blues Party that the trains would be put on that week, and it took 2 weeks. I agree with you but I'd really like to see a train do a run through.
tigellinus Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I'll believe it when I see it. Don said at the Blues Party that the trains would be put on that week, and it took 2 weeks. But that might have been weather dependent, and the upcoming weather is looking good.
IndyGuy4KI Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Anyone know how many test runs are required for a new coaster before it can be certified?
The Interpreter Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Anyone know how many test runs are required for a new coaster before it can be certified? Yes. Terpy, in your heart you knew he would.
IndyGuy4KI Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Anyone know how many test runs are required for a new coaster before it can be certified? Yes. Terpy, in your heart you knew he would. Glad you know Terpy. Care to share with us that don't know?
The Interpreter Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I didn't necessarily say I knew. I said someone knew...that IS what you asked! Seriously, it varies. The correct answer is: enough. Seriously.
Monroe Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Don't expect too much on the first try, cool weather, new wheels means slow train. I would not be surprised if it did not clear the second hill, it should and I would expect it to, but it will be slow.
goofywdw Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 But then why would they test it if it's not even going to crest the second hill? Why wouldn't they just wait?
IndyGuy4KI Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 But then why would they test it if it's not even going to crest the second hill? Why wouldn't they just wait? It seems to me they are confident in their design and construction to do a full test run and see what happens. I doubt they have any issues with the trains making it throught the course.
