I predict many will be torn between ending the day on the one and only legendary Beast or on Diamondback, the new gem of Kings Island...

Nope, sorry Terp. I have to stick to my Beast. Just because there's a shiny new coaster doesn't mean I'm going to forget my traditions. :)

I will not be one of them..... The Beast will always be first and last for me as long it (and /or I) are both still around.

Doesn't matter what they do, Beast will always be it for me. I predict not even being able to get on Diamondback til say maybe August if I have a day off during the week.

Easy, Beast Will be a walk on all next year, So right when darkness takes over I take a Beast Ride then Head over to Diamondback. I can fit both in one.

I for one will be ending it on Diamondback or SOB. I will only ride Beast if it's a walkon.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!!!!!!

In MY opinion; Beast is not worth a wait over ten minutes. I don't hate Beast, i just don't really care for it. If KI were to remove it (that won't be happening anytime soon though) i would be sad but i would get over it quickly. Don't think i hate Beast, cause i don't. I just don't enjoy it like i used to. Plus SOB is wayyyyy better- IMO!

how dare you disrespect The Beast it is one of the greatest rides of all time. The Beast will always be my last ride of the night it is just that great of a ride

Perhaps you are getting older and need to move to a middle seat of a car.....

Front seat- pretty rough, barley any airtime. Middle- A little rough not much airtime, bad view. Back seat- Extremely uber rough, airtime, headache.

Airtime on Beast? Please...at most there is a slight rise on the second hill. The Beast was never about airtime. It is about sustained speed and the helices...and what was, when it was built, a tremendous and HUGE first drop.

If you respect it so much how about using the proper capital letter at the beginning? The Beast

No, disrespect at all! I was actually trying to agree with Beaver, on the fact that I would rather ride Son of Beast. A night ride on SOB is a great ride for the people that have low pain tolerence!

More like a different kind of tolerance. Different rides for different people. If we all liked only the same things, all the lines would be the same length and all the rides would be perzactly the same. Fortunately, that is not the case.

I think SOB is actually a ton different than The Beast. In my opinion The Beast is a lot more mild than the SOB. The Beast is a great end-of-the nighter. Just my two cents, and with that I close for the evening..

It's one thing to go out and say that you "Don't Care" for The Beast and that the Son of Beast, Son of Beast, is better,

But it's another to say it to me! You better watch out dude.....

I for one, will be alternating depending on my moods, alignment of the planets, tide level, etc... I love a night ride on The Beast, but something tells me a nighter on Diamondback will be exceptional too.

The full time staff at Kings Island have been ranting about how excited they around about D'back's night rides since the announcement. Hopefully they're right!

To me the Son of Beast is the worst full- sized roller coaster at Kings Island besides Flight Deck, it is too rough, so I can't really enjoy it, Especially without the loop. (I have only been on it twice since I always run out of time though so maybe I am wrong)

The Beast is BEASTLY.

They are not building "ceiling foundations" for the station. They have the supports for the floor deck for the station on one side of the track, and the columns extend above the flooring. Naturally, the roof joists will not be installed until the columns on the other side of the track are put into place.
